Superman Movie Lawsuit Gets Major Update 2 Months Before The Film’s Release
The significant development unfolds in the legal battle concerning James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film, as we inch ever nearer to its premiere in cinemas.
According to a recent report by Bloomberg Law, Judge Jesse M. Furman has thrown out a lawsuit filed by the estate of Superman co-creator Joe Shuster against Warner Bros. Discovery, as they argued that the studio didn’t possess the authority to release the DCU installment in certain significant regions. Essentially, the judge ruled that he had no legal jurisdiction over the case. As of now, Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Studios have remained silent on this matter.
