A recent photo of Chris Hemsworth’s impressive Byron Bay home has shown off a unique detail, perfect for someone with superhero capabilities.
As a huge fan of Chris Hemsworth, I was blown away to see that he’s apparently had a custom rock climbing wall built right onto the outside of his house! Knowing how dedicated he is to his fitness regime, it doesn’t surprise me, but it’s still incredibly imposing to see. It’s just another example of his commitment to staying in peak physical condition, and honestly, it’s pretty inspiring. I’ve seen photos and it looks seriously challenging!
A detailed view of the large home, nicknamed Fortress Hemsworth, showed brightly coloured climbing grips attached to its outer wall, and overhead beams for securing climbing harnesses.
I’m still amazed by Chris Hemsworth’s home! It’s incredible – he has this amazing, state-of-the-art climbing wall that goes all the way up the full height of his three-story house. He and his wife, Elsa Pataky, actually bought it back in 2014, and while it was an investment, it was originally around $7million. Now it’s worth around $50million! It’s just unbelievable to see what he’s done with the place. Seriously, a full-height climbing wall!
They demolished the original eight-bedroom house in 2017 to begin building their mega-mansion.
Built over a period of two years, this house features six bedrooms, a spa, spaces for games and media, and large areas designed for outdoor living.

Additionally, Hemsworth built a modern training center on his land, naming it The Shed, to support his fitness company, Centr.
In 2019, Chris created a fitness app that users subscribe to. The app provides a variety of wellness content, such as workouts, meditation sessions, diet plans, and recipes.
The app charges $135 per year or $29 per month.
In a conversation with realestate.com.au, Chris Hemsworth’s trainer and business associate, Luke Zocchi, shared that the gym is a place where Centr trainers can try out new exercises and gear, and also enjoy themselves.
Oh my gosh, he really made it clear that absolutely *no* expense was spared when they built this incredible facility! It’s seriously state-of-the-art, and can you believe it was designed by Hemsworth and his team? I’m obsessed! He really went all out, and it shows. Everything is perfect, and it’s all thanks to their vision. I can’t even begin to imagine how much work went into it!
‘It’s definitely next level,’ Zocchi said.
‘Chris made sure to include the latest and greatest Centr equipment in the gym.’
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always excited to see people prioritize wellness, and this home gym is a fantastic example! It’s not just about lifting weights; it’s got everything you need to really level up your fitness. We’re talking dedicated areas for things like agility training and plyometrics – great for building speed and explosiveness. And, crucially, it includes recovery tools like a sauna and ice baths, because taking care of your body *after* a workout is just as important as the workout itself.

Hemsworth recently revealed he eats eight to ten meals per day to prepare to play Marvel hero Thor.
The famous Australian actor is getting ready to reprise his role as the Norse God in the highly anticipated 2026 film Avengers: Doomsday.
“To be honest, when I’m getting in shape for the role of Thor, I can eat as many as eight meals each day,” he shared with The Mirror.
I’m eating around 4,000 calories daily… and of course, it’s healthy food – not things like pizza and cheeseburgers – but yes, I do need a high calorie intake.
The popular actor known for his role in Mad Max combines a high-calorie diet with intense training. His stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton, shared that Chris Hemsworth often goes to the gym two or three times a day when getting ready to play Thor.
‘I eat between eight and ten meals daily – that’s a good-sized meal roughly every two hours,’ Centr reported Chris Hemsworth, known for his role in Ragnarok, said.
