Supergirl‘s Milly Alcock has landed the lead role in a “fresh and outrageous” new dark comedy.
As reported by Deadline, the movie Thumb narrates the tale of a solitary woman whose ordinary existence undergoes a significant transformation upon receiving a severed thumb through the mail.
In a role portrayed by Alcock, the character, who is female, is adamant about returning a strange thumb to its original owner. However, this personal crusade she has undertaken leads her on an unforeseen adventure.

Lately, Alcock has been featured in the Netflix drama series “Sirens”. In this role, she portrayed Simone DeWitt, a meticulously prepared assistant to the elusive billionaire Michaela Kell, played by Julianne Moore.
The tranquil order of Simone’s existence is disrupted when her sister, Devon (portrayed by Meghann Fahy), unexpectedly enters the scene, expressing unease over Simone’s intense and dominating professional relationship.
