Supergirl’s Milly Alcock Hints at Secret Superman Movie Cameo – Fans Are Losing It!
Milly Alcock, set to spearhead the upcoming “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” film, expressed her thoughts about a potential guest appearance in the 2025 “Superman” movie. With an impressive ensemble of actors preparing to portray iconic DC characters this summer, the intriguing speculation arises as to whether Supergirl is among them.
Actress Milly Alcock, known for her role in Supergirl, declined to confirm or deny a guest appearance in DC Studio’s upcoming Superman film. With excitement building around her imminent debut as Kara Zor-El within DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn’s new DC Universe, Alcock is skillfully keeping fans intrigued about what they can expect from her character.
At a recent press event for “Sirens”, Alcock was inquired about potential involvement in “Superman”. She responded coyly, “I can’t comment on that… I don’t want any legal issues!” She also shared that she finished working on “Supergirl” just days before the interview, expressing her enthusiasm for what she believes will be a “really good film.
I’m unable to discuss the topic at hand since I recently finished filming on Friday. The fear of legal repercussions prevents me from saying anything more about it. Despite my eagerness, I can’t reveal any details. The experience has been intense and chaotic, filled with excitement, making for what promises to be an amazing movie.
Additionally, whispers about Alcock being chosen for the role of Superman were circulating, and in May, Max’s official listings featured the actress from Supergirl among the cast members. Although this doesn’t specify the size of her role, it appears to confirm that Alcock’s version of Supergirl will make a cameo in the DCU’s first feature film on the big screen.
The upcoming DC Universe film featuring Superman, portrayed by David Corenswet, alongside Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, is scheduled to launch the new slate of DCU movies in cinemas. Set around a year into Clark Kent’s tenure as the Man of Steel, Superman will join forces with a group of Earth-based superheroes to thwart Luthor’s latest evil plot. The film is set to take flight in theaters on July 11.
How Big Will Milly Alcock’s Role in Superman Be?
Discussions about Margot Kidder’s role in “Superman” have been buzzing ever since viewers spotted a possible hint of her character in the reflection of a Kryptonian robot during the film’s initial trailer. However, with minimal whispers regarding her casting and no formal announcements, it seems unlikely that she will play a significant part in Clark Kent’s first new journey under James Gunn.
It’s quite probable that this film will position her as a strong and recognized figure on Earth, while Clark Kent shoulders significant responsibilities. If Gunn chooses to explore a post-credits scene or two, she could be an ideal choice, given her upcoming movie in the DC Universe timeline.
After that, Alcock is expected to lead her own standalone film under DC Studios, where she will face off against Jason Momoa’s character, Lobo, as well as other unnamed opponents.
Currently, DC fans find themselves in a position where they merely have to be patient and observe as they eagerly anticipate the unveiling of what’s planned by Gunn in his initial venture into Kryptonian storytelling. This is believed to pave the way for an exciting new cosmos.
