The character Lobo doesn’t appear in the comic book ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’ by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, which serves as the basis for the new DCU movie. However, it was already confirmed that Lobo would be in the film directed by James Gunn, and now more details about his part are being revealed.

The new trailer for Supergirl gives us a better look at Lobo’s role in the show. It appears he’ll be working with Supergirl, and the trailer ends with the two of them playfully arguing and battling enemies as a team.

Lobo, a character in DC Comics, is technically an antihero, but he usually acts more like a villain. He’s the last survivor of a planet he largely destroyed himself – a stark contrast to Superman’s origin story. Lobo works as a bounty hunter and is known for his love of violence, often targeting well-known DC heroes.

Even though Lobo isn’t in the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow movie, a lot of people thought he’d be an enemy to Kara, not an ally. The film can still show his complicated side, and he won’t necessarily be a hero. However, since many viewers will be meeting Lobo for the first time, portraying him as a good guy instead of a villain might upset some comic book fans.
