After the first trailer for the new Supergirl movie was released, Jason Momoa shared his reaction to the first look at his character. The film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, and follows her journey across the galaxy where she’ll encounter dangerous enemies. Momoa, previously known for playing Aquaman, will be playing a very different type of character in this DC Universe film.
Craig Gillespie directs the new Supergirl film, which stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, and Ferdinand Kingsley as Elias Knoll. Though Jason Momoa plays Lobo, the main villain is Krem of the Yellow Hills. Expect some conflict between Lobo and Supergirl as she travels the galaxy trying to escape those chasing her. The film centers on Kara Zor-El’s journey as she meets and protects a young girl from another planet, ultimately becoming a hero despite herself.
