At last, Supercell is bringing the world of Clash to your TV screens! The makers behind popular games like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale have teamed up with Netflix to create an animated series. This exciting new project has already received the go-ahead and is currently in its early stages of production, though specific details are still kept under cover.
This action wasn’t unexpected either; Supercell recently put up a job advertisement seeking a Senior Film and Television Development Executive. This suggests that they are seriously considering story development beyond mobile gaming.
The story possibilities Supercell can create with the Netflix series are endless
By making that specific declaration, they signaled they were not merely altering their games but rather delving deeply into the realm of world creation, offering a novel perspective that could propel Clash beyond its current status. Additionally, it seems opportune for Supercell to venture into the entertainment industry at this juncture.

Similar to Angry Birds and Minecraft, other mobile game franchises have successfully transitioned into movies that performed exceptionally well. With a vast array of entertaining and memorable characters, Clash is no exception. Although there isn’t a comprehensive narrative in the games, fans are already captivated by mini-animations such as Clash-A-Rama.
Currently, the intrigue centers around the characters and their roles. Who will take the lead as the hero, beyond the Goblin King? Could there be another character suited for the antagonist part? Perhaps a subplot involving the villagers’ goblins aligning with him and bolstering his forces? Certainly, there are several unanswered questions at present.
I’ve been considering a storyline for our game that fits its genre; it could revolve around a “clash of titans” theme, or even a romantic one. Picture the Archer Queen and Barbarian King falling in love – sounds intriguing! However, I can imagine the Grand Warden would be deeply affected by their relationship.

As previously stated, although specifics are still scant, fans have long expressed their desire for such a project, and finally, their wish is coming true. With Netflix as its backer, this upcoming series has the potential to become the next blockbuster in the realm of video game adaptations.
