Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment are planning a return to the Mushroom Kingdom in 2026 with a new Super Mario adventure, based on Nintendo’s popular video game series. The movie is already expanding its cast to include characters like Yoshi, and it looks like even more fan-favorites will be joining the adventure.

Leaked packaging from a new line of Pillsbury products – spotted at Tops Market, of all places – seems to have accidentally revealed his appearance. A connect-the-dot maze resembling a galactic map appears on the back of the new Pillsbury Yoshi’s Egg sugar cookie box, and features the villain’s emblem with its distinctive crooked teeth.

So far, Jack Black’s Bowser is the only confirmed villain in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. While fans have speculated about other potential villains like Bowser Jr., Wario, and Waluigi, this is the first official word that Bowser’s son will definitely be part of the film.
