
According to Deadline, The Super Mario Bros. Movie is expected to reach a worldwide total of $747 million by the end of its third weekend in theaters. Of that amount, $355.2 million comes from North American theaters, and $391.8 million from international showings. This success brings Illumination’s Super Mario franchise’s total earnings to over $2.1 billion. Furthermore, the film has now surpassed the $647.8 million worldwide gross of the Chinese film Pegasus 3, making it the highest-grossing movie of 2024 to date.
