‘Sup b***h’: Stewie2k added to Wildcard CS2 roster as stand-in

After a stellar substitute appearance for G2 at IEM Dallas in June, Stewie2k retreated into obscurity. While he may not have been the primary factor behind the team’s victory, his contributions undeniably played a role in raising the team’s trophy.
After that point, Stewie2k has been delighting in streaming CS:GO 2 more often, however, he hasn’t taken any steps to become part of a competitive team yet.
It’s intriguing to consider how Stewie2k’s involvement impacts Wildcard’s journey towards the Austin Major. The PGL Astana qualifier represents Wildcard’s final opportunity to gather VRS points for the MRQ, but with Stewie2k on the team, their performance tends to favor North America more significantly across multiple splits.
In this case, Wildcard can bypass the more challenging European Multi-Region Qualifier (MRQ) for Austin and participate in the less demanding North American MRQ instead. This move could potentially enhance their team’s prospects of qualifying.
