As a devoted fan of Sunny, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and apprehension as we approach the penultimate episode! The journey thus far has been nothing short of captivating, leaving us with more questions than answers about Masa, Sunny, and the enigma that surrounds them.

Amazing! It’s hard to believe we’re just one episode away from the second last installment of “Sunny” on Apple TV+. This ride has been quite intriguing, and there are still many mysteries left unresolved – like what happened to Masa, his disappearance, Sunny, and other questions. Fortunately, Suzie managed to locate her son in episode 8! Will she be able to find Masa as well? Maybe this week’s episode will provide some answers.

In the ninth installment of “Sunny,” titled “Mystery of the Box,” airs on August 28, 2024, at midnight ET. If you’re eager to watch, adjust your clocks because for some viewers, the show kicks off tonight based on your time zone. Here are the specific release times:

  • East coast: 12 a.m. ET on Wednesday, July 31

Despite the title and summary suggesting that the upcoming episode might center around Sunny, who we find waking up following last week’s cliffhanger, an intriguing twist unfolds as the sneak peek clip and promotional images hint at a focus on Masa. In the video below, he appears to be shooting what looks like a promotional video, which seems to be a flashback scene showing him and his company trying to either attract investors for their robots or market them to the public. If Masa appears to be promoting his own company in this advertisement, it seems unlikely that Suzie was unaware of her husband’s profession. One must wonder why he kept it a secret from her initially. As we delve deeper into each episode, we’re uncovering more about Masa’s past, and maybe these puzzling questions will be resolved. Provided he is still alive, which I suspect he might be. What are your thoughts?
