What happened in the premiere episodes

Last week in the initial two episodes of the show, we became acquainted with Suzie’s life in Kyoto, Japan, following her husband Masa and their son’s mysterious disappearance in a plane crash. In this advanced era, owning a robot has become commonplace for every household. Except for Suzie, who harbors intense dislike towards robots due to the belief that they were responsible for her mother’s death. Her mother had been using a self-driving car at the time of the incident. Unknowingly to Suzie, Masa wasn’t employed in refrigeration factories as she assumed. Instead, he worked for Imatech, a company specializing in robot technology.

As I sat in my living room, eagerly anticipating a surprise visit from my colleague Yuki Tanaka, little did I know that my world was about to take an unexpected turn. He presented me with a sleek, advanced robot named Sunny, allegedly a gift from Suzie’s husband. But as days passed and I started noticing strange occurrences, I began to question the authenticity of this backstory.

Meanwhile, the strange man observing her insists that Masa has met his end, but it’s unclear if this is true. An intriguing twist at the close of episode 2 reveals that Masa employed the Dark Manual on a robot project, leading to its dangerous and potentially lethal behavior. Remarkably, Sunny recalls this past event.
