Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is Out Now
Konami has declared that the High-Definition Remaster of Suikoden I & II, titled “Gate Rune” and “Dunan Unification Wars,” is now accessible. This marks a revival for the beloved role-playing game series, which was initially introduced in 1995.
The HD Remaster of Suikoden I & II preserves the narrative from the original games, alongside a familiar cast of vibrant characters, now beautifully revamped as detailed pixel sprites. Enhancements have been made to the environment art, incorporating modern touches such as lighting effects, moving clouds, shadow animations, fluttering flames, and active leaves and insects.
In the upgraded version of Suikoden I HD, all character portraits are now in high definition, featuring new artwork from original artist Junk Kawano. Additionally, you’ll notice improved ambient sounds such as running water, wind, and footsteps, along with enhanced battle sounds in 3D. Other new features include a dialogue log, auto-battle settings, double speed mode, and more.
The high-definition remaster of Suikoden I & II, titled “Gate Rune” and “Dunan Unification Wars,” is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC at a price point of $49.99/£44.99. You can watch the launch trailer here: [Launch Trailer]
