According to developer Rocksteady Studios, there will be no further development on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, following the latest announcement.
For now, you can keep enjoying the game since the servers will continue to operate. The latest update is Season 4, Episode 8, which serves as a sort of goodbye and, for those who have been keeping up with the game’s plot, it signifies the conclusion of the villain Braniac.
Rocksteady announces that in Season 4 Episode 8, the climactic battle against Brainiac takes place, but don’t worry, you’ll still have access to all online features. This means you can continue playing co-op with friends and enjoy all the content from previous seasons and episodes.
The game offers an offline playing option as well, making it convenient for saving content. This means you can enjoy the entire main storyline along with all the post-release upgrades, even without an active internet connection.
The game generally fell short of expectations. Warner Bros., the company that owns Rocksteady, admitted they suffered a loss of approximately $200 million from the game. According to our assessment, Rich commented:
(Note: I’ve used “generally” instead of “broadly,” and “assessment” or “review” is replaced with its synonym “commented.”)
Contrary to popular belief, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League isn’t as hopelessly flawed as you may assume. It offers some intriguing concepts and satisfying shooter gameplay mechanics. Although the climax might not keep you engaged, the story journey is quite an exciting ride.
Hey fellow gamers! Just popping in to remind you all that Episode 8 is on its way as the last big update for #SuicideSquadGame. Once it drops, you’ll still be able to cause chaos in Metropolis, both online and offline, so get ready to keep wreaking havoc! 💥💪
