Sue Radford has announced that her oldest daughter, Sophie, and her husband, Joe Bradley, have separated after being married for 10 years.
Sue Radford, 50, and her husband Noel, 55, are separating but will continue to co-parent their three youngest children. The couple, who have a total of 22 children, are focused on making this arrangement work for their family.
In an interview with The Mirror before the new season of her show, ’22 Kids & Counting,’ Sue Radford acknowledged that many marriages unfortunately end, and not all of them can be saved.
Sophie and Joe have separated, but they’re committed to co-parenting their three children.
Sue and her husband Noel are famous for having a large family in Britain. They have twenty-six children: Chris (36), Sophie (32), Chloe (30), Jack (28), Daniel (26), Luke (25), Millie (24), Katie (23), James (22), Ellie (20), Aimee (19), Josh (18), Max (17), Tillie (15), Oscar (14), Casper (13), Hallie (10), Phoebe (9), Archie (8), Bonnie (7), and Heidie (5).
Sue also mentioned that this Sunday’s episode will center around Sophie’s divorce.
We’re so proud of Sophie for bravely sharing her experience on camera. She wanted to talk about how she felt then, and how she’s feeling now.
This episode will be the first time Sophie and her parents have publicly acknowledged their separation.
During the interview, the mother of 22 children also mentioned that she and her husband, Noel, had recognized their separation was something that had been developing over time.
She explained that they had known for some time that things weren’t right. Sophie simply couldn’t continue living that way, and she’s much happier now.
Noel also mentioned that he and his wife have been friends with Joe for years, and ultimately, they just want him to find happiness.
Sue said her daughter Sophie isn’t looking to date anyone right now. She explained that Sophie is focused on settling into a new routine as a single mom and isn’t in a hurry to start dating.
However, they would like to see her with someone new when she is ready for a new relationship.
The Radford family has recently seen a huge increase in their wealth, tripling it through successful business ventures. This news comes after reports of their thriving enterprises.
I’ve been following Sue and Noel’s journey for a while now, and I’m thrilled to say they’ve absolutely smashed it! They’ve managed to triple their money, and The Sun reports that as of February 2025, they’re sitting on a net worth of £975,000 – it’s amazing to see their hard work pay off!
Raising their children cost a lot of money, so the parents found several ways to earn income over time.
The family, from Lancashire, earned their wealth through their Channel 5 show, ’22 Kids And Counting,’ which ran for six seasons, as well as book sales and their successful online pie shop.
People have criticized the Radford family in the past for spending a lot of money, pointing to their £7,000 Christmas bill as an example. However, both parents maintain that they aren’t rich.
Records from Companies House show the family’s wealth has likely increased significantly, tripling over the past financial year.
Okay, so I’ve been following Sue and Noel for ages, and it’s amazing to me that in 2019 they actually became official directors of their own company, TRF21 Limited. I dug a little deeper, and it looks like they were building this business around getting people noticed in the media – basically, helping them with their public image. It’s so cool to see them taking control and really putting their ideas into action!
The company had a very profitable 2024, increasing its net worth by an impressive 493 percent.
According to The Sun, the company finished the year with £124,647 in capital and reserves, and had an additional £78,695 saved to cover future expenses.
The family’s increasing wealth is probably due to a few things, mainly that Sue and Noel have many different sources of income.
The couple runs a successful pastry shop, Radford’s Pie Company, close to their home in Morecambe, and it’s been growing quickly.
The company’s value significantly increased in 2024, jumping 177% to £78,837, compared to £28,470 the previous year.
The family has also earned money through other projects, like sponsorships and collaborations with brands on social media.
Although Sue used to dislike being labeled an ‘influencer’, it’s clear that social media is now a major source of income for her family.
