Succession star Sarah Snook makes a rare appearance with husband Dave Lawson as they enjoy a late night out at Nikki Glaser’s Golden Globes after-party

Sarah Snook enjoyed a night out with friends and colleagues after the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, as the event continued with several afterparties.

Sarah Snook, the actress famous for playing Shiv Roy on the HBO show Succession, was seen in public with her husband, Dave Lawton, at a party celebrating comedian Nikki Glaser in Los Angeles.

The couple seemed happy and cheerful leaving the Sunset Tower Hotel party, where they had chatted with other guests like Jennifer Lopez, Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, and Paris Hilton.

Thirty-eight-year-old Snook turned heads in a stunning lace gown – the very same one she’d worn earlier that night on the Golden Globes red carpet.

Lawson, dressed in a classic black tuxedo alongside his wife, smiled and waved to the crowd as they headed to their car.

In 2021, actress Snook married actor Lawton in her Brooklyn backyard. Snook surprised everyone by being the one to propose.

We quickly fell in love, got engaged, married, and then had a baby. She told Graham Norton that it’s no exaggeration to call him her soulmate.

The Emmy-winning actor told Vogue Australia that their relationship wasn’t typical – they started as friends and gradually fell in love over a few years.

I’ve known her since 2014, and honestly, we’re inseparable. We’ve shared a home, explored the world together, and always get so thrilled when we’re reunited. But just to be clear, it’s always been a purely platonic friendship – a really close one, but definitely not romantic.

Everything shifted in 2021 when they found themselves stuck together in lockdown in Melbourne, and they both discovered they had developed strong romantic feelings for each other.

Last year, when the pandemic started, I was stuck in Melbourne with a close friend, and we ended up falling for each other. It was unusual for us because we’d never both been single at the same time before.

The couple welcomed their first child together in May 2023, a baby girl.

At the Golden Globes, Timothée Chalamet surpassed Leonardo DiCaprio as the frontrunner to win the Best Actor Oscar, earning the award for his performance in Josh Safdie’s film, Marty Supreme. Snook and Lawson were present to witness his win.

Leading up to awards season, Leonardo DiCaprio, at 51 years old, was expected to win the Best Actor award. However, according to predictions from Kalshi, a regulated exchange and prediction market, Timothée Chalamet is now the clear frontrunner to win the top acting prize at the March Academy Awards.

Despite competition from Timothée Chalamet’s film and others, Leonardo DiCaprio’s “One Battle After Another” ultimately won Best Picture – Comedy or Musical at an awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday night.

Though ‘One Battle After Another’ took home the most awards at the ceremony with four wins, it’s expected to have strong competition from ‘Hamnet’ during the Oscars. ‘Hamnet’ secured the final award of the night, winning Best Picture – Drama, beating out films like ‘Frankenstein,’ ‘It Was Just An Accident,’ ‘The Secret Agent,’ ‘Sentimental Value,’ and ‘Sinners’.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I was so excited when The Pitt won for best drama! R. Scott Gemmill is a genius, seriously. And then The Studio took home the comedy/musical award – Evan Goldberg, Alex Gregory, and Peter Huyck totally deserve it! But honestly, the biggest win of the night had to be Adolescence. Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne created something truly special, and seeing that limited series recognized was just… perfect. I’m still buzzing about it!

Thirty-year-old Timothée Chalamet sparked conversation after seemingly ignoring his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, while accepting his award for Marty Supreme.

The actor, known for speaking French, won an award for his performance in a musical or comedy film. He finished his acceptance speech quickly, simply saying, ‘To my parents and partner, I love you. Thank you so much.’

Jenner, 28, received a surprisingly understated expression of affection after publicly professing her love at last week’s Critics Choice Awards 2026.

Timothée Chalamet won the role, beating out strong competition that included Leonardo DiCaprio. Other actors considered for the part were George Clooney, Ethan Hawke, Lee Byung-Hun, and Jesse Plemons.

One Battle After Another was the big winner of the night, taking home four awards. These included Best Picture for a Comedy or Musical, as well as prizes for Best Director and Screenplay, both awarded to Paul Thomas Anderson. Teyana Taylor also surprised many by winning Best Supporting Actress.

One Battle After Another has enjoyed a successful awards season so far, but it will face strong competition from the film Hamnet, featuring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal, which recently won the Best Picture award in the Drama category.

Oh my gosh, I was absolutely losing it when Sarah Buckley won Best Actress in a Movie – Drama! Seriously, she deserved that award so much, and I was screaming at the TV when they announced her name. It was amazing!

Irish actress, age 36, won an acting award, beating out well-known performers like Jennifer Lawrence, Renate Reinsve, Julia Roberts, Tessa Thompson, and Eva Victor.

Netflix’s series Adolescence was the big winner on TV, taking home all the awards it was nominated for. Sixteen-year-old Owen Cooper, a star of the show, made history as one of the youngest people ever to win a Golden Globe Award.

The young actor won an award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV series, limited series, or movie.
