A new series called Mouse, starring Sophie Okonedo (known from Slow Horses), received a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes after premiering in Berlin. Set in 2002, the drama explores what happens after a relationship falls apart between two high school students, Minnie and Callie.
Okay, so things get really tough for Minnie when her best friend, Callie, and she have a falling out. It totally throws her off balance, and she unexpectedly starts getting close to Callie’s mom, who is super sophisticated. This new connection actually pulls Minnie away from her own mom and the pretty messy life she’s used to at home. It’s a really complicated situation!
Kelly O’Sullivan and Alex Thompson’s new film recently premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and has received perfect scores from critics, earning a 100% rating based on 10 reviews.

Kelly O’Sullivan and Alex Thompson have created a truly special film. The story is both emotionally powerful and genuinely enjoyable, embracing the awkwardness and growth of coming-of-age. It’s a realistic and remarkable movie that you shouldn’t miss.

As IndieWire pointed out, it’s important to remember that every person has value and deserves recognition. While that might seem like a simple idea, it’s a fundamental part of being human – and something often overlooked in movies.
Alongside Kristin Scott Thomas, who plays Ingrid Tearney in Slow Horses, Mouse also features Katherine Mallen Kupferer from Widows, Chloe Coleman of 65, Iman Vellani from The Marvels, and David Hyde Pierce of Frasier.
Mouse is yet to confirm a release date.
