As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for anime-style RPGs, the announcement of Studio Bside’s StarSavior has sent shivers of anticipation down my spine! With Counter:Side under their belt, I have high expectations for this new title, especially considering its immersive storyline and stunning animation-style 3D graphics.
In a thrilling announcement, Studio Bside, behind the hit game Counter:Side, has finally disclosed the title of their upcoming RPG – StarSavior, previously known as Project Star. They have also shared a captivating key visual that gives us a glimpse into the game’s worldview and opened their official X account (previously known as Twitter). The beta test for this eagerly awaited game is scheduled for next year, with an official release slated for the second half of 2025.

In the game titled “StarSavior”, you’ll find yourself immersed in a fantasy setting known as the Nebula Observatory Organization (NOA). Here, you assume the role of a savior on a quest to acquire stellar powers. Your ultimate goal is to rescue the dwindling world from certain doom.

The game offers an immersive story in animation-style 3D graphics along with various charming characters. Additionally, there is also a training system where you can interact with the characters and prepare them for upcoming battles.
StarSavior will undergo a closed beta in the first half of 2025
The game was first revealed as “Project Star” back in January 2023 via a teaser video, and subsequently through another promotional video. Now, we’re eagerly awaiting further information about StarSavior since Studio Bside has announced plans to conduct a Closed Beta Test (CBT) in the first half of 2025.
Among the Gacha games, I’m particularly thrilled about this one, thanks to its anime-inspired art and stunning visuals. Additionally, an official from Studio Bside hinted, “As many fans anticipated, we will come back with a top-tier production that will gain recognition not just domestically but internationally as well.
