The creators of the game Counter:Side, Studio Bside, have announced that their new fantasy RPG, StarSavior, will be released worldwide on March 26th. The game was originally shown in November 2024, and players will be able to pre-register starting December 24th.

Hey everyone, so it looks like we’re gonna have to be a little patient for StarSavior. It just launched in Japan and Korea, and I’m super excited about it! Basically, you play as the leader of these awesome maidens, and the story is all about how the past and future collide. I’ve been following this game for a while, and I can’t wait to finally get my hands on it!

You’ll embark on a space rescue adventure with strong female characters like Asherah and Smile. As you travel, you’ll build relationships with them and fight mysterious creatures called Voidborns in thoughtful, turn-based combat. A neat feature is the ability to create training plans for your team before each mission.

The game features a wealth of content, including characters and locations inspired by various cities, appealing anime and 3D art styles, and much more. Unfortunately, the Japanese and Korean releases didn’t launch well, with one player commenting that the game doesn’t feel unique. This has led to declining ratings, as fans have explained their concerns.

StarSavior is currently released in South Korea and Japan. Pre-registration will open on December 24th. Until then, you can play the game by downloading it from the Korean or Japanese Google Play Store or App Store.
