The creators of Counter: Side, Studio Bside, announced that their new fantasy RPG, StarSavior, will launch worldwide on March 26. The game was first shown in November 2024, and pre-registration starts on December 24, as revealed in their recent Japanese livestream.

Hey everyone, just a heads-up that we’re gonna have to be a little patient for StarSavior. It’s a new fantasy RPG where you get to play as the leader of these awesome maidens, and the story is really cool – it blends the past and the future together. It just launched in Japan and Korea, so we’re waiting for our turn to jump in!

Embark on an epic space adventure where you team up with strong heroines like Asherah and Smile. You’ll build relationships with them while battling strange, powerful creatures called Voidborns in thoughtful, turn-based combat. A cool feature is the ability to create training plans for your team before each mission to prepare for what’s ahead.

The game features a wealth of content, including characters and settings from various NOA cities, appealing anime and 3D art styles, and much more. However, the Japanese and Korean releases faced initial challenges, with one player commenting that the game “doesn’t offer anything unique.” Consequently, player ratings have significantly decreased, and fans have explained their reasons for the lower scores.

StarSavior is currently released in South Korea and Japan. Pre-registration opens on December 24th! Until then, you can play the game by downloading it from the Google Play Store or App Store in Korea or Japan.
