Ore Oduba, who won Strictly Come Dancing, is going through a separation from his wife, Portia, who has frequently shared how upsetting the split has been for her.
Things have gotten even worse for the former TV researcher, as their family home is now being sold, which has deeply upset their two young children.
In 2022, Portia and Ore, along with their children Roman, age eight, and Genie, age four, moved into a newly built home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Portia, 36, shared online that she’s told her children they’re selling the house. She says it’s been difficult, particularly for her son Roman, who is very upset by the news.
I tried to explain to the children why this was happening, but it’s been incredibly difficult, and I’ve been preparing for it for some time. She and Ore, a presenter for BBC children’s television, got married in 2015 after meeting while studying at Loughborough University.
She’s currently looking for a job. It all happened so quickly – one moment she was doing housework, and the next she was interviewing for a position. She admits she doesn’t like change and finds it stressful not knowing what the future holds, whether it’s about her home or her career. She feels like she’s at a turning point in her life.
Portia revealed last year that she used alcohol to deal with a challenging time in her life. More recently, in the fall, she expressed feeling overwhelmed and admitted she’d reached her limit.
Ore has been working on personal growth recently. He shared a photo of himself showing support for the LGBTQ+ community, and has also openly discussed his struggles with pornography addiction.
Spooky spot for founder of Phones4U
73-year-old billionaire John Caudwell is enjoying a revitalized life with his girlfriend, Modesta Vzesniauskaite, a Lithuanian cyclist who is roughly 30 years younger than him.
He’s not the only one feeling something different at his £12 million Jacobean mansion, Broughton Hall in Staffordshire – there are also rumors of ghostly activity at the historic house.
Okay, so I haven’t seen anything ghostly myself, but everyone who’s been in the house says they’ve felt…things. Like, one person told me the bed actually vibrated, and another swore they felt a little touch on their arm while walking upstairs! It’s seriously spooky, and there are just so many stories about the place being haunted. I’m obsessed with all of it!
Dame Joan backs Cara’s girl
Dame Joan Collins, known for speaking her mind, seems pleased with Cara Delevingne’s current girlfriend.
92-year-old actress Joan Collins, along with her husband Percy Gibson, had lunch at Nobu Malibu in California with model Cara Delevingne, 33, and singer Leah Mason, who performs as Minke, 34.
She’s one of the sixteen godparents to Cara. When she asked Cara’s parents, property developer Charles Delevingne and his wife Pandora, about having so many, they jokingly explained it was ‘just in case any of them passed away!’
Traitors not so tidy for fan Ruth Jones
Fans of the show Gavin & Stacey were excited by the news that Ruth Jones might be appearing on the next season of The Celebrity Traitors.
But now the star has confirmed she recently rejected an offer from the show’s producers.
She explained that she was approached about participating and, being a fan of the show, she initially thought it would be a wonderful opportunity.
I realized it would involve swimming in a lake and wearing a wetsuit, which didn’t appeal to me. So, I decided I’d rather just watch instead of participate.
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’s son is not yet three but already feels at home on stage.
The actor, 36, currently performing in the Broadway play Every Brilliant Thing, says he’s taken this particular person to the Hudson Theatre a few times now, and feels they seem a little too at ease onstage.
The moment he stepped onto the stage, he immediately commanded, ‘Dancers, take your positions.’ He and his longtime partner, Erin Darke, 41, have not yet revealed the name of their son.
Following Donald Trump’s comment that Keir Starmer wasn’t measuring up to Winston Churchill, a surprising figure has responded.
According to Sir Richard Branson, the current US President doesn’t inspire troops like Winston Churchill did, and soldiers are unclear about the goals of the conflict with Iran.
According to the Virgin Group founder, any future US military conflict should have a clear and compelling reason for the global sacrifices it would demand. He contrasts this with Winston Churchill, who rallied Britain during World War II with a defined purpose – defending the nation’s independence. The speaker believes former President Trump lacks this same level of justified purpose.
Zak Starkey, drummer and son of Ringo Starr, is auctioning off a 1967 floor tom drum at Sotheby’s. The drum was famously played by Keith Moon of The Who.
The £230,000 drum kit features nude photos and is labeled ‘Keith Moon Patent British Exploding Drummer’ – a nod to the famous drummer’s habit of intentionally blowing up his drum sets with gunpowder during performances.
