Nikita Kuzmin and his dance partner, Amber Davies, are showing a strong connection, with onlookers describing their chemistry as ‘sizzling’ after he was seen affectionately kissing her on the head while out in public.

The 27-year-old dancer was photographed giving Amber a sweet kiss on the head after leaving a practice session for the BBC competition.

He was spotted kissing West End performer Amber, 29, on Wednesday while they practiced for Icons Week in North London.

According to The Sun, Nikita also caressed the back of Amber’s hair and neck.

According to a witness, the man acted naturally, warmly kissing the woman on the head and holding her close.

Saturday night saw the couple, reportedly lost in the moment, perform a Cha Cha to a song by Ariana Grande.

This performance followed last week’s Argentine Tango, where their close connection on the dance floor worried viewers about the ‘Strictly curse’ – the idea that a romantic connection might develop between celebrity contestants and their professional partners.

According to a source close to the show, Amber and Nikita were the main topic of conversation behind the scenes last week. Their passionate Argentine Tango performance sparked a lot of talk, and they’ve been generating buzz for a while now.

People playfully teased them for getting lost in each other’s eyes during the end of the show, when everyone else was watching the camera.

The couple often seemed lost in their own world, and their strong connection hasn’t gone unnoticed by their fellow contestants on Strictly.

The source added that there is ‘an undeniable spark between them’.

A friend of Amber’s shared that she’s very happy in her relationship, and it’s common for Nikita to hug and kiss his friends and family when he sees or leaves them.

Nikita has been dating Lauren Jaine since 2023. Amber and actor Ben Joyce began dating in 2022 after meeting while working on the musical, Back to the Future.

Earlier this week, Nikita’s girlfriend, 24-year-old Lauren Jaine, posted a funny video pretending to cry, with a caption asking who might fall victim to the ‘Strictly curse’ this season.

In a separate social media message, she asked fans to be considerate, saying, “Please don’t make comments wishing for the ‘Strictly curse’ to affect anyone. Let’s be respectful of their real-life partners and allow everyone to enjoy the show.”

Meanwhile, at the start of the series Amber insisted the infamous curse would not happen to her.

She told me she’d met Nikita’s girlfriend and really likes her. She described her as supportive and easy to get along with. Apparently, she also had a chance to meet Ben and my sister, and she said it was a pleasant experience.
