Strictly’s Nadiya Bychkova cosies up to West End star Ian McIntosh at Ballet Icons Gala and says ‘I’m enjoying Valentine’s weekend with good company’

Strictly’s Nadiya Bychkova cosied up to West End star Ian McIntosh at the Ballet Icons Gala.

The 36-year-old professional dancer has apparently become close to actor Ian from Les Misérables since she and her Strictly Come Dancing partner, Kai Widdrington, broke up last year.

The pair reportedly first met in March and then attended the celebration for the 40th anniversary of Les Misérables in London together in October.

Nadiya and the actor arrived together, holding hands, at the Ballet Icons Gala 20th Anniversary celebration in London on Sunday, fueling rumors of a romantic relationship.

Nadiya seemed to confirm her relationship by sharing that she was having a lovely Valentine’s weekend with someone special.

The Ukrainian performer, known for their role in Les Misérables, described the production as a wonderful showcase of talent, bringing together many artists and creators for a single, special night.

‘It’s really special to me especially being a professional dancer.’

After the gala, the couple headed to an after party at The Savoy Hotel.

Ian and Nadiya attended the Les Mis gala in October, where they posed for photos on the red carpet. Ian put his arm around Nadiya’s waist as they both smiled for the cameras.

Sharing a snap from the event to his Instagram account Ian wrote: ‘What a glorious night.’

Earlier that week the pair were spotted enjoying a cosy coffee date in London.

I heard through the grapevine that Nadiya and Ian were set up by some friends they both know, and apparently, it was an instant connection! They really clicked right away, which is so lovely to hear.

They’ve appeared together at a few public events, like red carpets, and expected people to figure out they were a couple pretty quickly.

They share many interests and genuinely enjoy each other’s company, which is wonderful to witness. Everyone is thrilled for them both.

Daily Mail contacted both Nadiya and Ian’s representatives for comment at the time. 

Oh my gosh, Ian is just… incredible! I mean, everyone knows him as Jean Valjean from Les Misérables, and honestly, that performance destroyed me. But before that, he was Jesus in Tim Sheader’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar! It was a completely different vibe, but equally amazing. He just becomes the character, you know? I’ve seen both performances multiple times and I still get chills!

I was so thrilled when he received an Olivier Award nomination! It was for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, and so well-deserved for his amazing performance as Barry Mann in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. He truly brought that character to life.

Kai has confirmed his new relationship with Chloe Wells on Instagram, nine months after a difficult breakup with his ex.

Executive assistant Chloe, who hails from Essex, met Kai on a night out at a west London pub. 

Showing just how in love they are, the dancer shared a sweet photo on social media last month of them and their partner gazing lovingly at each other.

Kai beamed, clearly thrilled, and Chloe, looking glamorous in a short brown dress, seemed just as captivated by him.

Captioning his snap, Kai simply penned: ‘Happiness is underrated’, alongside a black heart emoji. 

He also tagged his new girlfriend in the post.

Over the summer it was reported that the couple were planning to move in together soon.
