Strictly’s Katya Jones poses up a storm in tight leather trousers at the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere – after breaking down over her elimination

I was so excited to see Katya Jones at the Avatar premiere! She looked absolutely incredible, rocking a pair of tight leather trousers. It was great to see her out and about, even though she and her partner were unfortunately eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing last week. She always brings the energy!

The 36-year-old celebrity revealed on Monday’s ‘It Takes Two’ that she feels responsible for her and Lewis Cope being eliminated from the show, following criticism from viewers about his departure.

Viewers were shocked when Billy Elliot’s actor was eliminated on Sunday, and many felt it was the most unfair dismissal in the show’s history.

Adam Thomas, the 30-year-old actor from Emmerdale, and his professional dance partner Katya were strong contenders to win the competition and consistently scored the highest marks from the judges.

She seemed determined to move forward, staying busy at the glamorous premiere where she confidently displayed her figure in a sleek black outfit.

She teamed the sexy trousers with a sleek black jacket and boosted her height with heeled boots.

During Monday’s episode of It Takes Two, Katya shared her feelings about leaving Strictly Come Dancing with her partner Lewis, and became visibly emotional while discussing it.

Viewers were on the edge of their seats as Lewis found himself in the dance-off alongside Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin.

Through tears, she admitted that in hindsight, she wished she had handled things differently to improve the situation for him. She realized he could only act on her requests, and this time, he hadn’t followed through as she’d hoped.

He always did that. We faced a lot of pressure to perform nearly flawless, amazing routines every Saturday, and you consistently delivered. I honestly don’t know how you managed it, but you always did.

Lewis put an arm around her as he sweetly insisted: ‘Because of you!’

Even though Lewis and Amber both scored highly during Musicals week, they had to perform again to secure their spot in the semi-finals next week.

Amber and Nikita earned a score of 40 on Saturday while dancing the Charleston to “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat” from the musical Guys and Dolls. Following their performance, Lewis and Katya danced the Salsa to “Dance at the Gym” from West Side Story.

Judge Shirley Ballas was stunned by the dance-off and said, ‘I’m lost for words! Remember, you’re all competing for a spot in the semi-final, and we’re incredibly impressed with everything you’ve done. Let the best dancer win!’

Motsi Mabuse’s vote was the deciding factor, sending Amber and Nikita to the semi-final. The other three judges had already chosen the Love Island star to continue.

Viewers were upset with the outcome of the dance competition, believing Lewis should have won the championship.

They wrote on X: ‘I’m so heart broken for Katya, I really thought she’d win it this year’;

I’m so upset that Lewis and Katya won’t be dancing together anymore. It’s really heartbreaking. I also think the results were strange – Lewis deserved to be in the final, and it’s a shame he wasn’t.

‘So gutted. Lewis was incredible, he really didn’t deserve to go home this early’.

You know, Tess Daly asked me about my experience on the show, and honestly, it’s been beyond my wildest dreams. I really couldn’t have asked for anything more. It’s just been incredible!

At the start, if anyone had told me I’d last 11 weeks on the show, I would have been thrilled and accepted immediately.

Thank you to everyone involved with the show for creating such a wonderful and supportive environment where people can truly be themselves, grow, and learn. This has been an incredible experience and a lifelong memory. And Katya, I especially want to thank you – you made it all possible.

Honestly, you’ve been everything to me – the best friend, the most amazing teacher… I can’t even picture my life without you in it. Seriously, thank you just doesn’t seem like enough!

Katya shared with Lewis that she believes he’s created many iconic moments on Strictly Come Dancing, and will be remembered as one of the show’s best – and most wonderful – celebrity contestants.

‘Kind and genuine people still exist – what a gentleman you are, so humble and so kind.

It was wonderful meeting you and sharing your incredible talent with everyone. Thank you for being such a kind and lovely person.

Lewis shared with Tess that the support he’s received on the show means the world to him, saying, ‘It’s everything, isn’t it? People are what life is all about.’

This show has been amazing, bringing people together – not just my family, but it seems to genuinely brighten people’s spirits. For my family, it’s become a tradition, with four generations gathering every Saturday night, and my Nana Dot always there with a smile.

We’ve had young boys reach out, saying they never thought dance was for them, and now they’re sending us videos of them dancing. It’s incredibly rewarding – even changing just one person’s life in that way makes it all worthwhile.
