As a seasoned Strictly Come Dancing aficionado who has witnessed many a dance floor drama, I must say that this latest episode between Wynne Evans and Katya Jones is quite intriguing. It seems like a harmless inside joke has been twisted into something much more by the public eye.

On Monday, Katya Jones seemed sad as she headed to the studio for practice sessions in Strictly Come Dancing.

A 35-year-old dance professional walked purposefully, accompanied by Wynne Evans, bearing a tray laden with coffees, en route to their rehearsal, displaying a focused demeanor.

The Strictly pro, was dressed in a long black coat over black leggings and chunky black boots.

As I juggle a spacious tote bag in one hand and steaming brews in the other, I prepare myself for a challenging day filled with rigorous workouts.

But her partner Wynne, seemed in much better spirits.

52-year-old Welsh opera singer, sporting a blue denim outfit with a layered look – a khaki green zip-up hoodie over a grey T-shirt – flashed a grin as he strolled towards the studio.

The star was observed with a sizable gray travel bag and a bulky black coat, appearing well-prepared for some sort of training session.

The duo’s visit to the studio occurred following media reports suggesting that BBC authorities assigned them an additional minder due to a previous instance involving his inappropriate hand gesture.

The dance partners have been justifying their uncomfortable interaction that occurred on last Saturday’s live broadcast, throughout the entire week.

Onlookers noticed an awkward instance when Katya gently pushed Wynne’s hand off her waist and declined his offer for a high-five.

Currently, The Sun is stating that they were under surveillance during filming, and both the team and staff were advised to remain alert due to the recent event prior to recording the subsequent episode.

According to the source, instead of having just one chaperone, they each had their own, and the entire group was typically quite vigilant.

The action was seen as a means to avoid further inappropriate humor, while simultaneously ensuring Katya’s safety, should Wynne’s waist-grab not be the harmless jest they claimed it was, but rather an unwanted advance.

Regardless of the approach, supervisors decided it was wise to have additional oversight to avoid further instances of wrongdoing.

The BBC has been contacted by TopMob for comment.

Due to the event, there was significant worry within the upper echelons of BBC management, particularly given their past efforts to quell allegations of misbehavior in other shows. As a result, they initiated an investigation focused on employee well-being.

Katya had confirmed that she had not felt uncomfortable and no further action was taken.

Although they claim that Wynne and Katya barely interacted off-camera during their weekend meeting, it’s important to note that this is according to the publication’s report.

Katya stood up for her famous companion, stating that he had been misrepresented, implying that he is not the person he is being depicted as. They both assert that the “playful gesture” involving his hand was merely a harmless prank.

On last week’s It Takes Two, Wynne admitted he had watched the footage of the incident back and confessed: ‘I can see how people may have misinterpreted it.’

However, fans remain unconvinced and experienced a cringe-worthy moment during Wynne and Katya’s ‘uncomfortable’ resurgence onto the dance floor on Saturday.

As a devoted admirer, I quickly stepped along with them, trying to distance myself from the awkward viral incident where Katya subtly separated Wynne’s hand from her side and declined his playful high-five offer.

Spectators found the pre-performance video of the couple overly sweet and cozy, trying to dispel any speculation about their disagreement.

The clip saw the pair beaming as they climbed a Welsh mountain before Wynne gave Katya a piggyback.

) “Their heartwarming and non-controversial VT takes the cake for me in Strictly Come Dancing. It’s as if they can’t stand each other, but that’s just their playful act!

Despite being labeled as potential early departures by the bookmakers, my dance partner and I managed to earn a commendable score of 33 out of 40 for our Quickstep performance in the Glitterball Trophy competition.

Prior to the show on Saturday, Alex Apati from Ladbrokes stated: ‘Wynne’s odds have significantly dropped over the past few days, and it seems bettors believe he will find himself in a precarious spot on the leaderboard for the weekend… a notable shift compared to where he stood just a week ago.’

On “It Takes Two” airing on Monday, Wynne openly acknowledged that he had rewatched the event footage and conceded: ‘It’s clear to me now how others might have misunderstood the situation.’

Hanging onto his arm, Katya expressed her inability to stand the criticism her fellow actor is facing, as she felt compassionate because she knew he hadn’t done anything wrong.

She asserted: ‘It’s completely absurd to think I felt uneasy or affronted by it in any manner, and anyone harboring such suspicions has misunderstood the situation. I hope this puts an end to it, and let’s continue to bring smiles to each other’s faces.’

She commented: “It’s unsettling to see this man depicted in a way that doesn’t reflect his true character. Quite the contrary, the depiction seems to be quite distant from reality.

Let me clarify something for you: The incident involving the hand gesture and the high-five on Saturday night was just a private joke shared by Wynne and myself. Was it a bit silly? Definitely. Was it inappropriate or offensive? Indeed, it was.
