Strictly’s Chris McCausland’s comedy special is now on Netflix
Fans of “Strictly Come Dancing” who are eager to see Chris McCausland during his regular work can now catch his stand-up comedy special on Netflix, starting from January 16th.
The streaming platform has recently included “Chris McCausland: Live” in its collection for viewers in the UK and Ireland. This one-hour performance was captured at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in May 2023, marking the final stop on his tour for that year.
This is the exact “Speaky Blinder” special that has aired before on Channel 4, and was also previously offered for streaming through their platform. Now, it’s moved to a different location and undergone a minor title change.
To catch more contemporary stand-up comedy from McCausland, he’s currently on his “Yoinks!” tour. This tour runs for over 200 performances, extending till May next year. However, many upcoming shows in the coming months have already been sold out.
Following his historic Strictly win, McCausland announced a memoir set to be released in October.
Last week, he mentioned that although he found the show “Strictly” truly terrifying, his upcoming book doesn’t have a release date and he hasn’t begun writing it as of yet. But don’t fret, he plans to start working on it immediately. He guarantees it will be quite amusing.
Simultaneously, his BBC Radio 4 talk show titled “You Heard It Here First” has been renewed for a third season, and it’s anticipated to air in the springtime.
Strictly Come Dancing is set to make its comeback later this year, typically airing on Saturdays on BBC One. The companion show, Strictly: It Takes Two, airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows can be streamed on BBC iPlayer.
