Strictly’s Anton Du Beke shares the sweet moment his twins watched his big reveal on The Masked Singer

Anton Du Beke revealed the adorable reaction of his twins when they found out he was the Arctic Fox on The Masked Singer.

Viewers and judges were surprised on Sunday’s show when the celebrity contestant, 59, was finally revealed. He’s well-known as a legend on the show Strictly.

On Monday, the dad shared a photo on Instagram showing a side-by-side comparison: a picture of him being revealed on a TV show next to a photo of his eight-year-old twins, George and Henrietta, who he shares with his wife, Hannah Summers.

In the video, Joel Dommett encourages the audience to shout “take it off,” and it’s revealed that Arctic Fox is actually Anton.

I seriously almost passed out when I realized it was him! Like, the guy George was so scared of, the one pulling all the strings… it was his dad?! I swear, George’s scream – “How?! How in a million years?!” – perfectly captured what we were all thinking. It was just… unbelievable. I’m still reeling, honestly!

Oh, the joy! I’ve seen so many families experience those truly magical moments, and this was one of them. The kids were absolutely ecstatic, jumping for joy and yelling with pure delight – you could just feel their excitement! Their little exclamation of ‘How is that daddy?! How?!’ perfectly captured that sweet, surprised energy that makes family life so special.

Anton shared a sweet video with the caption: ‘I wish I could have shown you all this earlier!’

It was such a pleasure being on The Masked Singer this year with my wonderful colleagues @mewossy, @davinamccall, @mothecomedian, @mayajama, and @joeldommett!

It was really hard to keep everything a surprise, but seeing Henrietta and George’s reaction made all the effort – all the quiet practices and secret songs – totally worthwhile. Sending all my love, Anton XX

I couldn’t believe it when the judge on Strictly sang Barbra Streisand’s ‘Woman in Love’ – and then revealed who they really were! It was such a shock, especially after that performance.

He used seven acorns as clues, as the star is from Sevenoaks, Kent.

The flour bags alluded to his early career as a baker, and being called ‘bottom of success’ was a playful reference to him winning Rear of the Year.

You know, someone recently told me they thought I was a drag queen, and honestly, it was the best compliment! I was really going for that full RuPaul-inspired performance vibe – giving it everything I had, you could say. It’s fun to fully embrace that larger-than-life energy, and I’m thrilled it read that way!

‘I was clenching and releasing every second, I don’t know how I’m going to go back.’

Anton added that he ‘loved every second’ was ‘devastated to have been voted off’.

The celebrity also mentioned feeling comfortable and at ease wearing the Arctic Fox’s boots, jokingly adding that he was no stranger to performing, referencing his experience on Strictly Come Dancing.

Sunday’s episode of the show also revealed the identity of Monkey Business as singer Kate Nash, in a shocking double elimination.

Singer Kate Hudson, 38, performed “As Long As He Needs Me” from the musical Oliver!. She revealed she included several coffee-themed hints because of her roles in the films Coffee Wars and Syrup.

The clapperboard for the project displayed ‘Take 615’, a subtle nod to the singer’s name and the Nashville area code.

She mentioned having many competitors in the industry, and jokingly referenced the actor Danny Dyer – who stars in the show Rivals – making an appearance in her ‘Wasteman’ music video.

The surprising reveal stunned both the judges and the audience, who had predicted the masked performer could be Lily Allen, Kimberly Wyatt, or Shona McGarty.

You know, after chatting with everyone here, I’m struck by how genuinely lovely the team is. It feels good to finally focus on something purely joyful and entertaining – I’ve been on a really intense touring schedule and very focused on political work lately, so this is a welcome change of pace.

It was great to relax, have fun, sing along, and enjoy the show and music. I really like people who don’t take themselves too seriously and have a playful side.
