Strictly pro Lauren Oakley puts on a leggy display in shorts as she arrives for rehearsals alongside Nadiya Bychkova and Michelle Tsiakkas
As I delve into the captivating world of these two remarkable individuals, Shayne and Sarah, it is impossible not to be enchanted by their vibrant careers and infectious energy.
On a brisk Wednesday morning, the cheerful Strictly Come Dancing pro, Lauren Oakley, appeared in high spirits while heading to a dance studio in North London for practice sessions.
In another part of our space, I found myself eagerly making my way to the studio, mirroring the radiant smiles and readiness that Michelle Tsiakkas and Nadiya Bychkova exuded.
Lauren showcased her long legs while wearing a pair of blue denim shorts, and she paired this outfit by tucking a white shirt into the shorts when she went outside.
I felt at ease, sporting a pair of sleek black laced-up boots, and adding a touch of elegance with a set of oversized silver hoop earrings.
In the meantime, Nadiya wore a roomy grey sweater paired with matching bike shorts and sneakers.
The mother-of-one kept low-key by wearing a grey baseball cap, stylish sunglasses and carried her belongings in a large white tote bag.
In 2022, Michelle made an appearance on the BBC show, turning heads in a snug, attention-grabbing hot pink leotard paired with Adidas jogging pants.
Last year’s champion, Vito Coppola, appeared to be running behind schedule as he sprinted from his vehicle and hurriedly entered the studio, my heart pounding in anticipation!
I, a dedicated follower, was observed sporting an unusual accessory – a knee brace – while holding up my thumb for the cameras, all while donning green shorts and a white tee.
As Luba Mushtuk stepped into view, she displayed her radiant grin and raised a symbol of harmony, dressed entirely in black attire.
In another location, Katya Jones showed off her well-defined abdominals wearing a black sports bra, leggings, and an unbuttoned white Dodgers baseball shirt.
Jowita cut a very cool figure in a double denim number as she arrived sipping on a coffee.
She was stunning in the roomy coat and denim pants, accessorizing perfectly with a pair of shades as she finished off her look.
Following the arrival of the Strictly celebrity contestants for their initial rehearsals a week ago, something interesting occurred.
Actors Shayne Ward and Sarah Hadland, along with Love Island celebrity Tasha Ghouri and comedian Chris McCausland, were welcomed by professional dancers at a studio in London.
Last Thursday, it was announced that EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick and Olympic swimmer Tom Dean became the latest two celebrities to join the show.
As the actor portraying Jay Brown on EastEnders, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been added to the cast following my top-notch performance in the Christmas special last year, which earned me the highest possible mark.
On Air with Radio 1, Jamie expressed his delight: “Last year’s Strictly Christmas special was a blast! When they invited me to participate in this season, saying ‘yes’ was as simple as could be!”
As a seasoned dancer with years of experience under my belt, I’m excited to embrace this brand new adventure: learning a fresh dance routine every week! It’s going to be quite a departure from my usual repertoire, but I’m ready to step out of my comfort zone. And let’s not forget the public’s feedback – it’ll be a thrilling experience to hear their opinions and see how they react to my performances.
24-year-old Tom, an Olympic gold medalist in swimming, has previously revealed that he will not be participating in the upcoming show, following his team’s triumphant win in the freestyle relay during the recent Summer Olympics a week ago.
Overwhelmed with joy following Team GB’s victory, an enthusiastic Tom unintentionally revealed that he would be a part of the forthcoming season of the BBC’s dance program.
At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Tom made history as the first British man to win a gold medal for the men’s 200m swim freestyle in over 100 years, going on to win a further gold medal in Tokyo.
Just yesterday, I proudly added another gold medal to my collection, this one earned as a member of Team GB at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, in the thrilling team 4 x 200m freestyle relay event.
Tom openly acknowledged that he had prematurely disclosed the news of his Strictly Come Dancing 2024 participation by slipping up at the poolside earlier. On Thursday, he declared, “I’m thrilled to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing 2024! You might have caught me accidentally revealing it by the pool… but now I can formally express my enthusiasm for embarking on something novel, meeting remarkable individuals, and learning to dance!”
Shayne, the actress on Coronation Street, and Sarah from Miranda hastily left the ITV Lorraine studio for rehearsals, following their announcement in the cast list.
Sarah, aged 53, gained fame by playing the role of Stevie, a supporting character alongside Miranda, in the popular BBC sitcom that earned acclaim. Additionally, she was among the initial cast members of the widely recognized and multi-award-winning series titled Horrible Histories.
Besides his stand-up comedy career, this celebrity has also taken on acting roles in shows like Waterloo Road, That Mitchell and Webb Look, and the 2008 James Bond film Quantum of Solace.
Sarah exclaimed: “I’m utterly thrilled to be on Strictly! Being part of this legendary show in its 20th anniversary is a dream come true. I can hardly wait for the sparkle, elegance, and excitement, and I hope to make everyone watching at home proud!”
In the year 2005, Shayne, now 39 years old, burst into prominence after clinching the second installment of “The X Factor.” Now, he’s set to team up with another star from the same show, JB Gill of JLS, on “Strictly.”
Despite my initial excitement when I heard that his third album was coming out, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. It peaked at a lower position on the charts and didn’t sell as well as I had hoped it would. As a die-hard fan, it was a bit of a letdown, but I’m still holding onto hope that his next release will bring back the magic!
Transitioning into the realm of acting, the performer became part of the Coronation Street ensemble, playing Aidan Connor from 2015 to 2018 – a role he assumed a full ten years following his victory in the singing contest.
Shayne made his last appearance as Aidan Connor on 7 May 2018.
Previously, the star had participated in ice dancing, since he took part in Dancing on Ice competition in the year 2013.
Recently, I had the thrill of starring in a gripping Channel 5 drama titled “The Good Ship Murder,” sharing the screen once more with my esteemed former Coronation Street colleague, the lovely Catherine. It was an unforgettable experience!
As a lifestyle expert, let me share my excitement: “I can hardly contain my enthusiasm for experiencing the shimmer and enchantment of Strictly Come Dancing live! While I’m no stranger to live television, stepping onto that dance floor to perform Latin and Ballroom moves in front of millions is an entirely different experience. I may not be the next Fred Astaire, but I promise to give it my all!”
Strictly Come Dancing fans have furiously slammed this year’s lineup as ‘the worst to ever exist’.
The reality TV stars Tasha Ghouri from Love Island and Pete Wicks from TOWIE were both introduced to the upcoming series, along with comedian Chris McCausland, JLS band member JB Gill, rocker Toyah Wilcox, medical professional Dr Punam Krishnan, and singer Wynne Evans.
