On a brisk Wednesday morning, the cheerful Strictly Come Dancing pro, Lauren Oakley, appeared in high spirits while heading to a dance studio in North London for practice sessions.
In another part of our space, I found myself eagerly making my way to the studio, mirroring the radiant smiles and readiness that Michelle Tsiakkas and Nadiya Bychkova exuded.

Sarah, aged 53, gained fame by playing the role of Stevie, a supporting character alongside Miranda, in the popular BBC sitcom that earned acclaim. Additionally, she was among the initial cast members of the widely recognized and multi-award-winning series titled Horrible Histories.
Besides his stand-up comedy career, this celebrity has also taken on acting roles in shows like Waterloo Road, That Mitchell and Webb Look, and the 2008 James Bond film Quantum of Solace.
Sarah exclaimed: “I’m utterly thrilled to be on Strictly! Being part of this legendary show in its 20th anniversary is a dream come true. I can hardly wait for the sparkle, elegance, and excitement, and I hope to make everyone watching at home proud!”
In the year 2005, Shayne, now 39 years old, burst into prominence after clinching the second installment of “The X Factor.” Now, he’s set to team up with another star from the same show, JB Gill of JLS, on “Strictly.”
Despite my initial excitement when I heard that his third album was coming out, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. It peaked at a lower position on the charts and didn’t sell as well as I had hoped it would. As a die-hard fan, it was a bit of a letdown, but I’m still holding onto hope that his next release will bring back the magic!
Transitioning into the realm of acting, the performer became part of the Coronation Street ensemble, playing Aidan Connor from 2015 to 2018 – a role he assumed a full ten years following his victory in the singing contest.
Shayne made his last appearance as Aidan Connor on 7 May 2018.
Previously, the star had participated in ice dancing, since he took part in Dancing on Ice competition in the year 2013.

The reality TV stars Tasha Ghouri from Love Island and Pete Wicks from TOWIE were both introduced to the upcoming series, along with comedian Chris McCausland, JLS band member JB Gill, rocker Toyah Wilcox, medical professional Dr Punam Krishnan, and singer Wynne Evans.
