Strictly launch date REVEALED as stars including Dianne Buswell and Shayne Ward are seen heading to last minute rehearsals
As a lifestyle expert with over three decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming season of Strictly Come Dancing promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Having attended numerous dance competitions and events throughout my career, I’ve come to appreciate the passion, dedication, and sheer determination that goes into each performance.
The debut of Strictly Come Dancing has officially been scheduled for very soon, and it will make its television premiere on BBC One this coming Saturday, September 14th
The first live show will take place the following week, on September 21.
As the countdown reaches its final week before the pros and famous personalities take over your screens, Dianne Buswell was among the first to arrive at Elstree Studios on Wednesday for crucial last-moment preparations
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I find myself often captivated by the poised demeanor of individuals who exude an aura of determination. Case in point, the 35-year-old red-haired ballroom dancer, striding with purpose from her London hotel. Her choice of attire, a pair of jeans paired elegantly with a fitted black top, only served to underscore her businesslike air
She completed her ensemble by carrying a brown leather satchel and wearing a black jacket adorned with neon pink and red accents on one shoulder
Also spotted heading in was singer turned Coronation Street actor Shayne Ward.
The 39-year-old novice dancer appeared prepared for exercise, donning a blue sleeveless shirt and coordinating track pants, along with a sports bag
He combed back his wavy, brown hair with a headband and put on a mint-green cardigan to complement his relaxed outfit, all while giving a thumbs-up to admirers gathered outside
Pete Wicks presented an informal demeanor while linking up with his co-stars for a day filled with rehearsals and shooting scenes
Previously on TOWIE, the 36-year-old celebrity sported gray pants with paint splatters, a white undershirt, and a jacket made of dark leather that leaned towards black
He covered his eyes with a pair of brown sun glasses as he carried along a silver suitcase and a black and grey duffel bag out of the London hotel.
66-year-old Toya Wilcox was spotted exiting a vehicle, wearing an all-black ensemble accented by a vibrant neon pink jacket slung around her midriff
The presenter went make-up free to greet the stars ahead of the competition.
With a cheerful grin, Dr. Punam Krishan exited wearing a set of black leggings, beneath which was a roomy T-shirt, and on top, she donned a casual light denim jacket
As I enthusiastically strolled alongside my favorite TV crew, there I was, right behind our captivating host, effortlessly swinging a grand, cream-hued tote bag on my shoulder – the perfect accessory for the day’s filming!
Elsewhere, Aljaž Škorjanec seemed cheery as he arrived in a Paris Olympics top, flashing photographers a thumbs up as he headed to the car still wearing his white hotel slippers.
For several months, the popular BBC program has faced accusations concerning alleged bullying and mistreatment by dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima towards their previous celebrity dance partners, Amanda Abbington and Zara McDermott
After Amanda, a previous participant, made accusations against Giovanni, the BBC initiated an inquiry. The findings of this inquiry have not been released to the public yet. However, Pernice denies these allegations
Fellow dancer Graziano has also left the show.
This year, some returning professionals will be among those appearing, such as Vito Coppola, who won last year, along with Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Katya Jones, and Nikita Kuzmin
Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, and Michelle Tsiakkas make up the entire group. After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis in May 2023, Amy Dowden is making a comeback to the show. She discovered a lump just the day prior to her honeymoon in the same year, which unfortunately prevented her from having a celebrity partner during that season of Strictly
In February, the 34-year-old woman declared her upcoming return to the show this year. After undergoing a mastectomy and chemotherapy, medical tests confirmed she had no traces of illness, also known as ‘no evidence of disease.’
To mark Amy’s comeback for Strictly’s 20th series debut, the dancers will execute a powerful performance that symbolizes empowerment. Additionally, during this opening event, we will witness the pairing of our famous contestants with their dance partners
Strictly’s launch show airs Saturday 14 September at 7.20pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
