Fans felt extremely disappointed when Karen Hauer and Gorka Marquez called off their performance at Cheltenham, only a few hours before they were set to take the stage.

The professional dancers expressed their regret and disappointment at having to let down their fans by making a late notice cancellation, stating that some unforeseen technical issues posed an unsafe condition for their performance.

‘We are so upset to have the curtain pulled down on tonight’s show.

We’ve been at the location this entire afternoon, dealing with technical issues that raised significant safety questions. Regrettably, we’ve exhausted every possible solution, but unfortunately, we won’t be able to perform on stage tonight as a result.

They went on to say, “Indeed, the safety of our organization is paramount, and this choice isn’t within our power to alter. We eagerly look forward to seeing you again soon. The organizers will reach out directly to those who hold tickets regarding the details.

For the entire afternoon, we’ve been stuck at the venue due to some unexpected technical issues that raised significant safety questions. We’ve exhausted every possible solution, but unfortunately, it seems we won’t be ready for our performance tonight.

It’s really unfortunate that they won’t be performing tonight. Karen and Gorka are scheduled for another show at the Regent Theatre in Ipswich, as part of their Speakeasy tour.
