Okay, so this is kinda crazy! George Clarke, you know, the guy from Strictly Come Dancing? He just landed another big hosting job with the BBC while still on the show! He’s actually doing really well, making it all the way to the semi-finals this weekend, which is awesome!
George is set to have a very busy Christmas season! He’s now confirmed to host a show on Radio 1 on Christmas Day, adding to his already full schedule with the broadcaster.
The episode, which was filmed in advance, will air sometime between 3 and 4pm. Joining the broadcast will be JADE, GK Barry, Ella Rutherford, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, as well as Munya Chawawa.

Although the rest of the show will be pre-recorded, Greg James will be live on air each morning from 8am to 11am.
George jokingly announced his new job on Instagram, saying people can listen to him talk nonsensically between songs during the Christmas season if they’re interested.

Also in Strictly news, Amber Davies, another contestant in the semi-finals, has spoken about how she’s doing after unexpectedly ending up in the dance-off last week, even though the judges had given her a perfect score.
As things unfolded, discussions online grew more intense about contestants who seemed to have danced before. On the day the results were announced, Amber asked fans to “please be kind.”
She continued on Instagram Stories, explaining that there’s been a lot of talk on social media, and still is. She said many kind people, both strangers and those who know her, have been reaching out to ask if she’s doing alright.

I’m doing really well, honestly. I feel incredibly fortunate to have made it to the semi-finals, and I’ll keep giving it my all.
Amber explained that conflict is a natural part of life and things wouldn’t function smoothly if everyone agreed all the time. She added that she wasn’t concerned about any disagreements and thanked anyone who had reached out to her.
You can watch Strictly Come Dancing on Saturdays on BBC One, and Strictly: It Takes Two on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are also available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
