The 36-year-old professional dancer recently announced she and her boyfriend, Joe Sugg, 34, are expecting a baby boy – their first child together.
Since debuting on the show with her partner Stefan Dennis, she’s been targeted by online trolls for continuing to compete while pregnant.
After only a week of being on the show, Dianne addressed a negative comment from someone who felt it was ‘uncomfortable and inappropriate‘ for her to compete while pregnant.
They expressed discomfort with her dancing while pregnant, stating it felt inappropriate given she was only beginning to show and it already seemed awkward.
Sharing the comment, she wrote: ‘I can’t believe in 2025 things like this are still being said.’
Dianne’s fans quickly rallied around her, with many sharing her story and praising her dedication to continuing the show despite everything.

Before the show aired, Dianne sweetly acknowledged her upcoming son by sharing a beautiful promotional photo.

To announce they were expecting, the couple created a sweet video set to Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.” They playfully pretended to paint a picture together on an easel, adding some fun drama to the reveal.
They held up the canvas for the camera, and it showed a drawing of two stick figures – one with bright red hair, representing Dianne – holding hands with a baby.
The couple shared that they are expecting their first child in 2026, and it will be a boy.
Joe captioned the clip: ‘Our little baby boy ❤️ we cannot wait to meet you’.
Joe and Dianne became a couple after being partnered together on the sixteenth season of *Strictly Come Dancing* in 2018.
Dianne has strongly suggested she and her partner are planning to have a baby, recently sharing in May that she really wants to become a mother.
The celebrity, who won the dance competition with her partner Chris McCausland last year, shared that the pressures of her work have delayed their plans to start a family.
She shared with The Sun that she definitely wants to have children, saying she and her partner, Joe, both love kids. While she hasn’t decided how many she’d like, she’s confident it will happen.
