On Tuesday, it appears that Nadiya Bychkova, known for her performances on Strictly Come Dancing, had to be taken to the hospital following a serious fall during practice sessions.
In north London, the star was undergoing training when she suffered severe back pain due to an injury, necessitating a call for an ambulance for her immediate medical attention.
According to a source, it appeared quite severe, and everyone was being cautious. The Strictly team immediately sprang into action, and she was carried out on a stretcher.
To ensure safety, after a fall during practice sessions, Nadiya was rushed to the hospital for an examination. She’s currently getting comprehensive care from both medical and welfare professionals. Meanwhile, rehearsals carry on, and the Strictly team is keeping in constant touch with Nadiya.
A representative from London Ambulance Service confirmed they received a call about an incident at Regent’s Park Road, NW1 on August 12th at 12:37 PM. They dispatched an ambulance team to the location and provided treatment for one individual before transporting them to a hospital.
Daily Mail has contacted Nadiya’s representatives and Strictly Come Dancing for comment.

The news about Nadiya’s accident follows the unveiling of the sixth celebrity competitor for Strictly Come Dancing 2025.
In September, BBC One and BBC iPlayer will welcome back George Clark, a well-known YouTuber and podcast host, as he steps into the renowned ballroom when “Strictly” makes its return.
Known to many as George Clarkey, this individual is in fact, a popular British figure on YouTube, podcasts, and various social media platforms.
George, who hails from the UK and was brought up there, started dabbling with video content during his teenage years. He soon found that humor and sincerity were potent tools for resonating with a global audience.

Upon signing up for Strictly Come Dancing, George expressed surprise by saying: “I never thought I’d say this… but I’m participating in Strictly! Frankly, I haven’t the faintest idea about what I’m doing, but I’m eager to dive right in… and perhaps take a few tumbles along the way.
The news was revealed on BBC Radio 1’s Going Home Drivetime Show this afternoon.

George boasts a massive fanbase on TikTok, numbering at approximately 152 million users, and maintains a substantial following of 679 thousand individuals on Instagram.
He is also often seen teaming up with TikToker Max Balegde as the pair host their podcast together.
Earlier today, it was revealed that Balvinder Sopal, known for her role in EastEnders, will be one of the five stars competing on Strictly Come Dancing 2025.
On Tuesday morning, during a live broadcast of Good Morning Britain, it was announced that the 46-year-old actress, known for her role as Suki Panesar on the BBC soap opera, is part of the show’s cast.
Balvinder is set to team up with a former Love Island champion, an actor from Doctor Who, and a renowned football player – these three celebrities have just been announced as the newest participants for Strictly.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can confidently say that being invited to participate in Strictly was an unbelievable dream come true for me. For years, I clung onto the hope that one day, I might grace the stage of this iconic show. And now, it’s a reality!
Working on EastEnders and participating in Strictly Come Dancing feels like living a dream come true! I’m so thrilled about it that I can hardly find the right words, but let me tell you, I’m beyond excited to showcase my moves across the ballroom.
While chatting with Richard Arnold from the EastEnders set, the actress shared that she had some experience with dancing in the past, but wasn’t confident about her skills on the dance floor.

She explained: ‘I can’t stop butterflies. Every time I think about it, they just go, so, yeah.
I’ve been exploring a bit. I dance ballroom and Latin dance for fun, and I truly appreciate it. It seems that when you have a deep fondness for something, you tend to find pleasure in it.
‘So I’ll definitely enjoy it. I don’t know if I’ll be any good!’
Balvinder, with a long-standing career in theatre, radio, cinema, and television that’s been marked by success, began working on the TV series EastEnders as early as 2019.
Over the past six years in Walford, she has been involved in several captivating plotlines such as Suki’s affair with Eve Unwin, being a member of ‘The Six’, and her tumultuous marriage to the sinister character, Nish.
Before reaching Albert Square, Balvinder had already been featured in numerous prominent television shows such as Call The Midwife, Doctors, and Waterloo Road.
On Monday evening, it was revealed that Dani Dyer (aged 29), Alex Kingston (aged 62), and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (aged 53) are among those who will be dancing this season. This news comes from The One Show.
They follow Olympian and Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, who was the first star announced.

In 2018, Dani Dyer, the daughter of renowned actor Danny Dyer, became well-known after winning a £50,000 prize on the ITV2 dating show, where she was partnered with Jack Fincham. This year, she also got married to Jarrod Bowen.
Dani expressed that getting a chance to participate in Strictly ranks as the second most fantastic experience she’s had this year!
‘I feel very very blessed and cannot wait to get my dancing shoes on.’
Doctor Who’s Alex notably appeared in US drama ER from 1997 to 2005 alongside George Clooney.
In addition, she frequently appeared in the series “Doctor Who,” portraying River Song – a character who was the romantic partner of Matt Smith’s version of The Doctor and the daughter of Amy Pond (played by Karen Gillan) and Rory Williams (played by Arthur Darvill).
During Peter Capaldi’s tenure on the BBC science fiction series, Alex took on her role again for a short while. Additionally, she lent her voice to several audiobooks within the franchise.
Previously, Alex expressed her interest in joining Strictly Come Dancing. She mentioned that she had talked about this with her good friend Sarah Hadland, who participated in the competition last year.
In 2019, Sarah Hadland mentioned that we both expressed our desire to participate in Strictly Come Dancing, according to her statement.
Upon learning that she is a professional ballet dancer, I exclaimed, “Whoa there! This isn’t right!” Consequently, I can’t perform during a season when she will be dancing.
The actress hinted playfully when talking to hosts Roman Kemp and Alex Scott about her forthcoming role: ‘My figure speaks for itself.’

In simpler terms, the former striker for Chelsea and Netherlands, who was also the coach of England, expressed his excitement about the upcoming challenge.
He mentioned: “I’ve never before exchanged a football field for a ballroom, but I’m excited to take on an enjoyable test!
‘Bring on a new type of footwork, with hopefully no own goals.’
For about twenty years, the man with four children had a career as a professional soccer player, representing both Leeds and Middlesbrough teams. He decided to retire in 2008.
Aikines-Aryeetey, famous as character Nitro, became the initial celebrity announced for the upcoming show, following his performance during the previous year’s Christmas special.
The fact that he was participating became public knowledge during a joke on CBBC Newsround, as the BBC initially stated that the initial stars joining the event would only be announced later in the day.
36-year-old Aikines-Aryeetey, renowned for his role in Gladiators: Epic Pranks, surprised everyone by showing up at Newsround studio undercover as Nicky Trott, a well-known choreographer, to discuss his latest findings from a scientific study on the advantages of dance.
Despite his attempt at disguise, Newsround presenter Jenny Lawrence soon figured out who he was truly conversing with, as her keen intuition allowed her to unmask the individual swiftly.
After that, Aikines-Aryeetey revealed the true purpose of his visit: to announce his participation in the latest season of Strictly Come Dancing.
Aikines-Aryeetey is an Olympian, multi-gold-medal-winning Team GB sprinter, and star of Gladiators.

Since his adolescence, this sprinter has been competing at the pinnacle of UK athletics. He made history by clinching gold medals in both the 100 meters and 200 meters events at the World Youth Championships, and at just 17 years old, he was awarded the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year title in 2005.
At both the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games, Aikines-Aryeetey secured the top spot in the 4x100m relay event.
He’s participated in two Olympic Games and holds the title of three-time European Champion, as well as being a two-time Commonwealth Champion.
2023 saw Aikines-Aryeetey debut as the character Nitro on the popular BBC show Gladiators. Most recently, he danced in the 2022 Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special alongside Nancy Xu.
Upon taking part in Strictly Come Dancing, Aikines-Aryeetey expressed his enthusiasm by saying: “After the Christmas Special, I was so captivated that I simply couldn’t resist coming back for more! I’m thrilled to be a member of the Strictly family during this season and I’m eager to give my best performance.
I’ll be bursting with energy to set the dance floor ablaze. Here’s hoping I catch on to the moves just as swiftly as I do on the running track.
