The skilled dancer reportedly encountered more difficulty instructing Nick, as a businesswoman from the lingerie industry was present, and since then, Katie has been reducing her frequent visits following their conversations.
According to a source, Luba expressed frustration over the frequent interruptions, as she believed they were disrupting their training schedule and regular routine.
As the sense of Katie’s gaze intensified during their close interactions, it became more challenging for Luba to maintain her usual teaching style.
Luba exhibits true professionalism, yet it’s undeniable that it feels uncomfortable when your partner’s significant other is present. It appears that Katie tends to be quite attached to Nick.
Instead of commuting all the way back to Berkshire after work, this pair has been honing their skills at dance or art studios located approximately 30 miles north in London.

On Friday, Nick received the news from medical professionals that he could return to the dance floor the following day, exactly a week since an injury had compelled him to withdraw from Movie Week.
Upon his reappearance on the program, Nick shared some uplifting updates via Instagram. He confessed that he regretted missing out last week and is now completely hooked on dancing again.
He began: ‘Hello everyone. Well I watched last week show feeling so sad that I wasn’t there. Of course I loved cheering on everyone else but I really missed it. I missed being part of it.
As I embarked on my Strictly journey, I honestly didn’t anticipate developing such a deep affection for dancing. But here I am, completely smitten and bitten by the dancing bug! So, I’m overjoyed to share that I’ll be back on the dance floor tomorrow.
Expressing his heartfelt appreciation, he said: “I’m deeply thankful to each and every physio and the entire medical staff at the BBC for helping me regain my strength. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night.
A representative from the BBC added, “Everyone is thrilled that Nick Knowles and Luba Mushtuk are set to perform on this coming Saturday’s show. After his injury last week, Nick has received the green light from our medical and physical therapy teams to dance.
Since they had some time off from rehearsals this week, they’ll be dancing the Charleston for “Movies Week” using the song “Rain on the Roof” from the movie “Paddington 2.
In August 2023, Nick and Katie became engaged in New Orleans. They shared their joyous news on Instagram.
In a collection of photos, it shows Katie, who is 27 years younger than DIY SOS host Nick, appearing overjoyed. One image captures the moment when Nick proposed by getting down on one knee.
In another image, she was beaming widely while displaying the candy-like ring that Nick had presented to her.
She captioned her post: ‘So last minute something special happened in New Orleans.’
