Lewis Cope, known for his appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, announced on Instagram Sunday that he’ll be dancing with his professional partner, Katya Jones, again soon.
After a dance-off against Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas, 30, and his partner Katya, 36, were eliminated from the competition by the judges.
Lewis and a professional dancer are holding a special workshop in Hartlepool, Lewis’s hometown.
In a video shared on Katya’s Instagram Stories, Lewis explained that many people had reached out asking if they could dance with them.
Katya jumped in and added: ‘So we’ve decided that we want to dance with you.’
Lewis mentioned they’ll be hosting a workshop in Hartlepool, and the link to join will be posted online, likely in their social media bios.

Come join the fun! You can dance, chat, ask questions, or just hang out with us – it’s going to be great!
Tickets for the event on Sunday, February 22nd, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM are now available. General admission costs £75.00, plus a £2.00 booking fee.
Even though Lewis and Amber both scored highly during Musicals week, they had to perform again to secure their spot in the semi-finals.
Amber and Nikita impressed the judges with their Charleston, set to a song from Guys and Dolls, earning a score of 40 on Saturday. They were followed by Lewis and Katya, who performed a Salsa to a song from West Side Story.
Shirley was stunned by the dance-off result, saying she was lost for words. She emphasized that dancers need to earn their spot in the semi-finals, and expressed her admiration for all the competitors, wishing the best dancer success.
Motsi Mabuse’s vote was the deciding factor, sending Amber and Nikita to the semi-final. The other three judges had already chosen the Love Island star to continue.
Viewers were upset with the outcome of the dance competition, believing Lewis should have won the championship.
They wrote on X: ‘I’m so heartbroken for Katya, I really thought she’d win it this year’;

‘I can’t believe we’re never gonna see another Lewis and Katya dance. I’m devastated’;
‘I feel weird about that result. Lewis was clearly final worthy. Such a shame.’
‘So gutted. Lewis was incredible, he really didn’t deserve to go home this early’.
Lewis received feedback from the judges on Saturday night that his Salsa wasn’t his best performance, and he earned a total score of 35.
Shirley Ballas told him: ‘There were missed connections and you looked a little bit tight.’
Lewis told Tess that being on the show exceeded all of his expectations. He said it was even better than he had hoped for.
At the start, if anyone had predicted I’d last 11 weeks on the show, I would have been thrilled and accepted immediately.
Thank you to everyone involved with the show for creating such a supportive and wonderful environment where people can truly be themselves, learn, and grow. This experience has been amazing and something I’ll cherish forever. And Katya, I owe it all to you – you’ve been the best friend and teacher I could ask for, and I can’t imagine going through this with anyone else. Thank you so much.
