As a seasoned professional who has navigated the demanding world of entertainment for years, it is heartwarming to see Janette Manrara, a fellow dance enthusiast and television personality, embarking on a new journey as a mother. Her struggles with infertility and the emotional toll of a C-section are experiences that resonate deeply with me as a fellow parent.

As a passionate admirer, I found myself choking back tears when I heard about Janette Manrara’s emotional moment on Thursday. The remarkable star of Strictly Come Dancing was fighting back tears as she juggled her demanding BBC obligations and the responsibilities of parenthood before filming the spin-off show It Takes Two.

Last summer, the 40-year-old skilled ballroom dancer and her 33-year-old spouse Aljaz Skorjanec became parents to a little girl named Lyra.

However, it seems like the responsibilities of motherhood and hosting the show are becoming overwhelming for her, as indicated by a tearful video she shared on Instagram.

While making her daily commute to work, she candidly shared insights into her hectic existence and managing her bustling lifestyle.

As a devoted admirer, I wholeheartedly echo her sentiments: Juggling parenthood and work is no walk in the park, yet we strive relentlessly to give it our all.

As my little one, Lyra, continues to grow and become more conscious, leaving her at nursery each day becomes increasingly challenging. Our connection deepens with each passing moment, making those goodbyes all the more difficult. Yet, I firmly believe that this separation is vital for both of us during this stage in our lives. It enables her to explore, learn, and grow independently, while I have the opportunity to focus on my own personal and professional growth.

Knowing that she’s secure, I am assured I can go to work. This peace of mind comes with the bonus of her enhancing her social skills, building a stronger resistance to viruses, and enjoying herself all at once as she plays and learns.

‘She always cries when I leave her, but she is fine after a few minutes.

‘It hurts so hard to see her upset and holding on so tight to mami.

‘But I remind myself that she is learning from example, a loving mami who protects and cares for her, and also works hard to provide for her family, and make her dreams come true.’

Aljaž returned to Strictly this year after leaving the show in 2022.

The comeback of this individual to the BBC program has been clouded with disputes, as it seems that both the cast and team members are displeased by his return, reportedly due to an off-stage altercation with a female professional who remains part of the show.

Approximately two years following his departure, it’s been reported that Aljaž left the show due to an alleged altercation with another female professional dancer during a nationwide tour.

It’s been said that the choice to reinstate the celebrity on the BBC program has sparked some surprised reactions, considering the series of controversies it has faced in the past few weeks.

Janette’s candid clip comes after she suffered a live TV blunder in June when her baby monitor went off during BBC Morning Live.

Last year in July, the star of Strictly and her dance partner Alijaz Skorjanec, who is 33 years old, were blessed with a baby girl named Lyra.

As a devoted admirer, I can attest that even while balancing motherhood and multiple TV gigs, the remarkable Janette demonstrates that life rarely follows a smooth script.

During Laura Pomfret’s discussion on overdrafts, a faint squealing sound could be heard in the background.

Let me pause for a moment, shall we turn off the baby monitor on Janette’s phone before we continue? There’s no need to attempt to conceal it, he said. (Host) Gethin Jones suggested this.

Janette explained: ‘It’s because I opened the WhatsApp group. Oh god! I’m so sorry.

Gethin and Laura asked if Lyra was okay with Janette assuring: ‘She’s fine.’

‘Oh good, but some people’s finances are not,’ he joked.

This year, Janette openly talked about the emotional struggle she faced when she couldn’t cradle her newborn daughter following a painful C-section.

In July, Janette and her spouse Alijaz joyfully shared the news that they’d become parents to a new addition, their daughter Lyra, following two years of efforts to conceive.

After the birth, Janette confessed that she had felt quite low due to the prolonged recovery period.

On the Mirror’s podcast, she shared her feelings: “Recovering from a C-section took longer than expected, and it was difficult. I wasn’t able to hold Lyra as much as I desired, which emotionally challenged me.

It feels strange since you’ve nurtured a baby inside you for nine months, creating such a strong bond – yet when she is born, you find yourself handling stitches and managing medications within your system at the hospital.

Janette added: ‘I descended fully. It suddenly struck me, ‘Why can’t I cradle my child now? I’ve just accomplished this and yet I can’t grasp her’. That was quite challenging for me.’

On Loose Women in December, Janette opened up about her experience of giving birth to Lyra, expressing relief that she didn’t need to undergo In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

She mentioned that she was 39 years old, and the situation was more complex than one might initially suppose. She advised against assuming that something would immediately occur after stopping birth control.

‘We feel incredibly fortunate that we didn’t need In-Vitro Fertilization. Our little one, Sazarina, arrived on a day that felt like a special birthday. I had no idea how I would feel beforehand, so I took medication in the morning and we danced with joy. The song we had wanted played as she was born.’
