Amber Davies from Strictly Come Dancing admitted she’s feeling awful after a very stressful dance-off that resulted in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink being eliminated from the competition.
Despite receiving some of the week’s highest scores, both the Love Island winner, age 29, and the former Chelsea footballer, 53, ended up in the bottom two.
Amber and Nikita Kuzmin received a score of 33 for their Cha Cha Cha, performed to Ariana Grande’s “Break Free.” Jimmy and Lauren Oakley earned 30 points for their American Smooth, set to Prince’s “Purple Rain.”
Despite a rocky performance, all four judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke – agreed to let Amber continue in the competition.
She recently shared on Instagram that she’s feeling awful, describing herself as ‘trash’ while holding a framed photo of her and Nikita from their time on Strictly.
In the video, she acted out a scene while a voice-over said, ‘I woke up feeling terrible – and for those wondering, ‘garbage’ is French for ‘trash’.’

She wrote alongside her post: ‘It was a really tough night in the dance-off, particularly because I was competing against two of the kindest and most talented people I’ve gotten to know during this show, Jimmy and Lauren.’
I’m so grateful to be celebrating Halloween week on Strictly, though we’ll be dearly missing two wonderful people.
Thank you so much for your support! We’re hoping for a strong week and really appreciate you sticking with us, especially when things have been difficult.
Jimmy, who had his best performance of the competition on Saturday, said he thoroughly enjoyed his time on the show after being eliminated.
He continued, saying that all anyone can do is give their best performance and then hope the audience enjoys it.
‘I was actually quite happy to dance again because I wanted to do better than my previous one.
Lauren, his dance partner, expressed her sadness about his departure, saying they’ve had a wonderful experience and she’s incredibly proud of his progress.

This shows that anyone can dance with dedication. It’s amazing – he’s a football player, and he danced beautifully!
I’ve truly enjoyed teaching you, and I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished. You’ve been a fantastic student, and it’s been a pleasure.
This news follows the announcement that Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be leaving the show when the current season finishes.
Claudia, age 53, expressed her gratitude for all the lovely messages they’ve received. She announced that there are still eight weeks left in the show and they will be crowning a champion at the end.
Tess, 56, said they’re excited to continue the show with all of the wonderful couples and viewers.
Strictly Come Dancing is back on BBC One this Saturday, November 1st at 6:35pm with a spooky Halloween special featuring the ten remaining couples.
