Strictly Come Dancing star admits to fancying their pro partner but ‘hasn’t got the energy for an affair’

Strictly Come Dancing star admits to fancying their pro partner but 'hasn't got the energy for an affair'

As I read through this article, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of dismay at the state of affairs surrounding the beloved Strictly Come Dancing show. With its 20th anniversary season marred by scandals and controversies, it seems that the joy and camaraderie that once defined the series have taken a back seat.

Sarah, not too long ago, confessed that she instantly took a liking to Vito Coppola as soon as they first met, yet she lacks the vitality needed for dancing and starting a romantic entanglement at this time.

Over the past few days, I, a die-hard fan, can hardly contain my excitement as I’ve been immersed in the intense rehearsals of the 53-year-old actress and her graceful dance partner Vito, aged 32. They’re perfecting a passionate paso doble for Saturday night’s performance.

However, it seems that Sarah couldn’t hide her attraction towards the Italian hunk, confessing openly that she found herself smitten with him since their first encounter, undeniably finding him appealing.

During a conversation about her feelings for her dance partner, Sarah confided in The Sun: “Indeed, I was attracted to him. After all, I am still here, aren’t I?

‘If you’re female and have a heartbeat, how could he NOT be anybody’s type?’

She said: ‘The paso doble we’re doing this week is very serious and sensual, and when we started learning it I was very, very giggly.’

The star also confessed that she had to keep her eyes on the camera while rehearsing the routine.

Sarah admitted that, just like him, she finds it hard to avoid gazing ‘into his eyes’, and this intensifies the situation ‘by at least a factor of ten’.

Sarah is recognized primarily for her portrayal of Stevie Sutton in the BAFTA-nominated British comedy television series, Miranda, which she has starred in a succession of.

Yet, nothing fully prepared her for the close, dance-like interaction with Vito. Tonight’s program will reveal the aftermath of their passionate exchange.

Sarah admitted that, as an actor, she gets quite intimate with people. Yet, she finds Strictly a whole new intensity.

However, she disclosed that she doesn’t find it ‘challenging’ to get intimate with her dance partner.

The star cheekily added that although she’s already a Strictly fan, Vito is the ‘cherry on the cake’.

Instead, she admitted that she lacks the necessary ‘vitality’ for both dancing and romantic entanglements. She explained that she can only engage in one activity at this time because she is ‘devoted to dancing’.

Sarah has shared that she believes she’s making a distinct place for herself within the show, known as the ‘comedy star’, since she’s starting to take over the comedic roles.

Although Sarah has a history in comedy, she’s proving to be a formidable competitor for the glitterball trophy on Strictly Come Dancing, having tied for second place on the leaderboard with her partner Vito in the previous week.

Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her partner Aljaž Škorjanec also finished in second place.

While JLS star JB Gill and his partner Amy Dowden were just one point clear of them.

On last week’s show, viewers could not vote for their favourites or vote anyone off of the show.

However, that is set to change as a couple will be eliminated from tonight’s show.

Regardless of tonight’s potential elimination, Sarah is positive that she and Vito will advance in the competition because of what he’s already taught her.

Sarah openly acknowledged that the process might come across as somewhat pretentious, but she admitted she was discovering more about her own self as she persisted and continued to challenge herself during rehearsals.

Sarah additionally acknowledged that her personality aligns with Vito’s, making their rehearsal sessions feel less like formal instruction and more like collaboration instead of strict learning.

Instead, it feels like she is being taught by someone who ‘believes’ in her.

This year’s 20th anniversary season of Strictly has taken on a more complex and less celebratory atmosphere, following the involvement of the BBC show in a scandal during a year marked by numerous controversies.

During the premiere, the BBC chose not to discuss the scandal, as the findings from the ongoing misconduct inquiry were yet to be released.

Everything started back in October when actress Amanda Abbington abruptly left the show, later alleging that her partner, Giovanni Pernice, had been abusive towards her.

As a connoisseur of holistic living, I find myself compelled to share some recent allegations regarding a certain educator, Giovanni. In a series of statements, the actress from Sherlock Holmes has criticized his teaching methods as unwarranted, abusive, cruel, and malicious. However, Giovanni vehemently refutes these accusations, maintaining his innocence.

Giovanni, aged 33, has been temporarily withdrawn from his duties as investigations continue at the BBC regarding accusations leveled by Amanda and two other ex-celebrity associates.

Due imminently, the report on Amanda’s misbehavior is causing concern. It seems she feels disheartened by the BBC leaders, suspecting they may be shielding the dancer during the investigation into his alleged bullying actions.

There are discussions at a top level within the BBC management about how to present their results, due to concerns that either Amanda or Giovanni could take legal action if they’re unhappy with the outcome.

Following Giovanni, the program encountered another round of scandals when Graziano Di Prima was dismissed in July over allegations of mistreating his Love Island co-star Zara McDermott, which some referred to as ‘kicking’.

Zara explained she didn’t report the incidents at the time as she was ‘scared’ of backlash.

During the investigation into professional dancer Giovanni, it was actually the junior production team members who stepped forward to disclose what they had observed.

Zara shared with her audience that although being on Strictly was everything she had ever hoped for, there were specific instances within the training sessions with Graziano that proved extremely upsetting.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 18:15pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
