Strictly Come Dancing judges transform through the decades as they perform their ‘biggest ever’ performance for the show’s live return

The new season of Strictly Come Dancing kicks off this Saturday with a spectacular live show, rumored to include a performance by the judges that’s bigger than anything they’ve ever done on the show before.

The Mirror reports that Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton du Beke will be performing dances representing different decades, beginning with the 1970s.

To start the show, Craig will appear in four different outfits while playing the roles of host and DJ.

During the nearly four-and-a-half minute performance, he’ll showcase several striking outfits, including a pink, ruffled shirt.

Head judge Shirley will appear with dramatic volumised hair for a Copacabana-style 80s routine.

Motsi is set to perform a passionate rumba inspired by the 90s, while Anton will take viewers back to the 70s with a traditional dance look featuring classic outfits.

According to a source, Craig reflects on the past while quickly changing into different outfits, ultimately ending up in modern times. He appears cheerful, and viewers are advised to enjoy the moment, as it may be a while before he smiles again.

Dianne Buswell, Neil Jones, and Karen Hauer – all professional dancers – will also be performing as backup singers.

Sources say their performance was pre-recorded and is now being released with a lot of excitement, promising to be more elaborate and entertaining than before.

Show bosses have quickly found someone to take Dani Dyer’s place after she had to withdraw from the program on Tuesday due to a broken ankle.

Amber Davies is the newest celebrity joining Strictly Come Dancing. She’s stepping in after Dani was unfortunately injured during practice.

Amber, 28, who is a professional dancer with West End experience, will be performing on Saturday night’s first live show of the series with her partner, Nikita Kuzmin.

Now that she’s joined the cast, it’s surprising how many of this year’s Strictly contestants have danced before.

The show aims to teach celebrities how to dance with the help of professional dancers, but surprisingly, many of them are already quite skilled.

This performer is a trained dancer and musical theatre artist. They earned a diploma in professional musical theatre and dance, studied dance in secondary school, and received further training at Danceworld Stage School.

As a teenager, she studied musical theatre at Urdang Academy, a performing arts school.

Amber also previously worked as a dancer at London nightclub Cirque Le Soir.

Last year, Amber competed on the ITV show *Dancing On Ice* and achieved a strong fifth-place finish alongside her professional skating partner, Simon Proulx-Senecal.

Many Strictly fans were unimpressed with the signing due to Amber’s past dance experience.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC on Saturday at 6.55pm
