Strictly Come Dancing fans spot wardrobe blunder between ‘lookalikes’ Pete Wicks and Shayne Ward
As a devoted Strictly Come Dancing enthusiast with over two decades of fandom under my belt, I must say that Saturday’s episode left me utterly baffled and amused! The wardrobe blunder featuring Pete Wicks and Shayne Ward was truly perplexing. It seemed as if the fashion team had mistakenly swapped their outfits or perhaps they were trying to create a new boy band sensation on the sly!
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must admit that I found myself puzzled during last night’s Strictly Come Dancing episode over what seemed like an unusual fashion choice – a wardrobe mystery, if you will.
Spectators did a double-take upon realizing that both competitors, Pete Wicks and Shayne Ward, sported strikingly similar outfits.
In the initial scene of the most recent episode, both leads sported grey shirts and high-waisted black pants, while their hair was stylishly combed back.
Supporters of the popular BBC series found themselves puzzled by the identical outfits at the glamorous event, expressing their thoughts on platform X, with several stating they were striking ‘doppelgängers’.
Shayne is wearing Pete’s costume, emulating him in a creative way, often referred to as cosplay. That’s exactly what I thought! #strictly

While some viewers made remarks: “Does anyone else feel like the wardrobe team hasn’t done a great job with the male celebrities this year?”, another viewer agreed: “I was thinking the same thing. They all seem to be dressing the same person now.
‘Shayne & Nancy are Pete & Jowita before it started raining #strictly’;
‘Shayne Ward looks like the Poundland version of Pete Wicks tonight #strictly’;
‘Shayne and Pete look alike this week #Strictly’.
In the end, Shayne outscored Pete and Jowita Przystal, as he teamed up with pro partner Nancy Xu to score a total of 31 points.
Tonight, the stars of Strictly Come Dancing and their professional partners step back onto the dance floor. Chris McCausland moved many viewers to tears with his touching performance, while EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick is currently leading the pack, just shy of a perfect score.
The judges praised Jamie profusely for his captivating Pasodoble, as they were left speechless by his extraordinary dance, which they referred to as a ‘Paso-masterful’ performance.
As a die-hard admirer, I found myself completely taken aback when comedian Chris, aged 47, and the Australian tennis sensation, 35, graced our screens with an enchanting waltz. It was their heartfelt homage to the legendary city of Liverpool that left viewers like me spellbound.

Dianne was stunning in a glistening navy dress, while Chris wore a coordinated suit set with a bold red shirt, looking sharp.
Spectators were deeply moved by the heart-wrenching performance, overwhelmingly filling up X (previously known as Twitter) with heartfelt compliments, imploring that Chris should be awarded the Glitterball Trophy.
