On Saturdays, the dance show came back for its 22nd installment, yet it was an emotional homage to former students Dave and Robin that left spectators in shock.
Sadly, television personality Dave the Hairy Biker died in February at the age of 66 following a long struggle with cancer. He was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013.
Ballet dancer Robin, who had been a professional on the program between 2010 and 2013, was discovered deceased in a hotel room located in London just over a fortnight ago.
Audience members found themselves moved to tears by the tribute, confessing that they wept when images of the two men appeared on the screen.
In a heartfelt message on their platform (previously known as Twitter), they expressed condolences saying, ‘Robin, you were a lively and caring person whom I had the pleasure of knowing for a short while.’ They also added, ‘A sweet tribute ❤️’.

66-year-old television cook Dave, once a skilled makeup artist focusing on prosthetics, tragically passed away on February 28th. Two years prior, he had disclosed that he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.
In May 2022, Dave shared that he was undergoing cancer treatment, and he courageously kept the audience informed about his journey through a sequence of heartfelt TV programs.
He died with his family and friends by his side, his colleague and lifelong friend Si revealed.

On February 19, just a few days prior to his passing, ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional Robin was discovered deceased in a London hotel room at the age of 44.
From 2010 to 2013, this individual graced the stage as a skilled dancer on the BBC program. His passing evoked widespread sorrow throughout the dance community.
It’s reported that Robin experienced a distressing event during the New Year season, prior to setting sail for a lavish cruise trip in South Africa.
A week ago, the dancer shared a saying that went like this: “Trauma makes one learn to anticipate and tolerate the absolute least.
As we move into a fresh chapter, I encourage you to adapt your expectations and embrace receiving abundance fully. Remember, you hold inherent worth, you are sufficient as you are, and you merit more than just enough.
