The new thriller Vanished, starring Sam Claflin and Kaley Cuoco, is now available to stream in the UK. It’s a suspenseful story with lots of unexpected turns, making it a great choice for a weekend binge-watch.
This four-episode series follows Tom and Alice, a couple enjoying a romantic trip to Paris. But their getaway takes a dark turn when Tom vanishes without a trace, leaving Alice to pick up the pieces.
The new mystery drama, created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, premiered in the US on MGM+ earlier this month. Now, it’s finally available for viewers in the UK.

But now, all four movies are available to stream on Prime Video. You’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription to watch them, which costs £8.99 a month after a 30-day free trial.
The series stars Matthias Schweighöfer and Karin Viard in supporting parts. Critics haven’t been entirely convinced, giving it a 46% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 13 reviews.

According to Collider, while Vanished is engaging enough to hold your attention thanks to its acting and complicated plot, the ending feels unsatisfying and doesn’t quite deliver on the film’s initial promise.
Metro agreed, describing the series as “gripping” and ideal for a weekend binge-watch. They said “Vanished” is just the right length to keep you hooked and completely satisfied.
Awards Buzz said that while Vanished is an okay show on its own, it doesn’t stand out. It’s difficult not to compare it to The Flight Attendant and feel disappointed by what could have been a better series.

Several publications noted the similarities between Kaley Cuoco’s new show, Vanished, and her previous hit, The Flight Attendant. NME commented that the new series puts Cuoco back in a role she excels at – playing a detective – and positions her as a potential star of mystery television.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new miniseries Vanished aims for the same appeal as The Flight Attendant, but ultimately feels like a much less engaging and ambitious version of that story.
Vanished is streaming now on Prime Video.
