Katherine Kelly’s thriller Cheat is available to stream in full on a number of streaming services.

Initially aired on ITV in 2019, the series titled “Cheat” features a previous cast member from Coronation Street, portraying the character Leah, who is a university professor. She develops a risky connection with one of her students named Rose, played by Molly Windsor.

Professor Leah Dale, a university instructor, believes that student Rose has plagiarized an essay. However, what initially appears as a straightforward instance of academic dishonesty quickly becomes more complex.

Under the guidance of director Louise Hooper and scriptwriter Gaby Hull, this series garnered acclaim from critics, particularly for the standout performances delivered by Kelly and Windsor in their leading roles.

The Wall Street Journal labeled the series as a captivating, somewhat disturbing, yet hard-to-resist thriller. What She Said referred to it as an engrossing four-part English thriller that’s sure to leave you breathless.

In a review by “The Decider”, it was stated that “Cheat” boasts two outstanding main performances and is succinctly crafted to ensure that the narrative doesn’t mislead viewers with unnecessary detours.

According to The Daily Telegraph, these two solid storylines supported a weak narrative, transforming it from being just ordinary to becoming intriguingly captivating.

This year, I’ve had the privilege of being part of several captivating shows that have left quite an impression. Among them are the gripping crime thriller, “The Crow Girl,” available on Paramount+, and ITV’s riveting crime drama, “Protection.” Notably, I also worked alongside Siobhan Finneran, a familiar face from “Happy Valley.” It’s been an incredible journey!

In addition, she will make an appearance in an impending edge-of-your-seat Channel 4 crime drama called “In Flight“. In this series, the character Kelly portrays is a solo mother and flight attendant named Jo Conran.

Jo’s world spirals out of control as her child ends up behind bars in Bulgaria, charged with murder, and Jo herself is coerced into illegally transporting narcotics. As of now, there’s no set date for the premiere of In Flight.

Cheat is available to stream on Disney+ and ITVX.
