Intrigued by the uncanny resemblance of real-life murders to my novels, I found myself being called upon by the NYPD. The TV series “Castle” ended after its eighth season in May 2016. Although there were several explanations given for its termination, one theory suggested that the strained real-life relationship between Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic could have been a factor. During this time, it was said that they had difficulty getting along off-set, with Fillion reportedly being unkind to Katic over an extended period. Highlighting the tension, another source revealed to US Weekly: “The relationship between Nathan and Stana was toxic.

Other factors contributing to the show’s termination were a substantial drop in viewership, deteriorating ratings, and questionable creative choices that affected the storyline of Castle.
