First up: For originals, Tubi has a spooky documentary and some thrillers, let’s take a quick look.

Unraveling the Ghostly Whispers of Hollywood: (October 9) – In this unique, firsthand account, I delve into some chilling and spine-tingling stories about ghostly apparitions and haunted locales that have made their home in the heart of Tinseltown.

Cruel Homicide” (October 11) – “A businessman, desperate to save his collapsing cryptocurrency empire, conspires to kill his wife for her wealth, only to discover a tangled mess of deceit instead.

On October 17th, a Duo of Nomadic Nurses found themselves delving into the actions of a haughty physician, following the enigmatic demise of one of their colleagues.

On October 25, or “Surprise 3”, the narrative unfolds as David’s anxiety grows, suspecting his secret about Lisa’s murder might be exposed. His hiding spots are dwindling as his obsession deepens.

Films and series coming to Tubi in October include:

Stream one of television’s finest productions, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, on Tubi. If you haven’t yet experienced its clever wit, chilling horror, and heartfelt emotions, then it’s high time you catch up with it immediately.

Christine – Arnie is an unpopular high school student, often tormented by his peers, even though his friend Dennis is a popular football player. However, things take an unexpected turn when Arnie acquires a run-down Plymouth Fury (known as Christine). It seems that this car has a strong inclination towards safeguarding its new owner.

“Dread of Downpour” – A high school student suffering from schizophrenia, Rain, is back at school following a psychotic breakdown. Her peers have distanced themselves, but a newcomer named Caleb extends friendship to her. He’s the only one who thinks Rain is on the hunt for a missing girl, yet it remains unclear whether Caleb is real or just a figment of her imagination.

As a movie enthusiast, I found myself utterly captivated by the modern take on “Fright Night” (remake). In this revamped version, the talented Anton Yelchin brings Charley Brewster to life. Charley and his mom reside in a tranquil Las Vegas suburb, and our curiosity is piqued when our new neighbor, Jerry (played by Colin Farrell), moves in next door. Little did we know that our interest and suspicion towards him would soon prove justified.

2014’s Godzilla – In this modern take on the Japanese monster saga, a navy ordnance disposal expert is dispatched to Japan. There he reunites with his long-lost father as they both confront terrifying beasts. However, their situation might improve when Godzilla, an ancient sea creature awakened from its slumber, enters the scene.

Movie Grindhouse: Death Proof

Planet Terror – A catastrophe involving biochemicals triggers a zombie epidemic, leaving it to Cherry Darling (performed by Rose McGowan) and her former lover El Wray to protect the town. Unfortunately, Cherry sustains injuries resulting in the loss of a leg; fortunately, she receives a prosthetic that functions as both an assault rifle and a grenade launcher.

Hellraiser, as you’re aware, follows the same pattern. The enigmatic puzzle box brings forth Pinhead and his sinister companions, the Cenobites. A storm of bloodshed and brutality unfolds.

As a captivated viewer, I found myself immersed in the gripping thriller “Identity,” which cleverly serves as both an edge-of-your-seat mystery and a mind-boggling puzzle. In this story, John Cusack, Rebecca DeMornay, Ray Liotta, Jake Busey, and a host of other talented actors find themselves stranded in a sordid motel during a ferocious storm. As the guests start mysteriously dying off, both the characters and I, as an audience member, are left guessing who among us could be the ruthless killer lurking within the motel walls.

What You Did Last Summer – The main characters, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Ryan Phillippe, are a group of reckless teens who inadvertently strike a man while driving carelessly. They discard his corpse in the water, vowing to conceal their actions. However, a year later, they’re haunted by enigmatic messages, and it seems that whoever is aware of their wrongdoing is responsible for a series of killings.

A year has passed since the initial incident, and Julie now attends college. Despite her best efforts, the harrowing experiences from last summer continue to haunt her in recurring nightmares. When she unexpectedly wins a trip to The Bahamas for herself and three companions, it appears almost too perfect – but as we all know, things aren’t always what they seem.

Titled “Insidious: The Last Key”, this film serves as the fourth chapter in the Insidious series. It delves into the life of Elise (portrayed by Lin Shaye), revealing her past. As we journey through the narrative, a link between this tale and the future events involving the Lambert family becomes apparent.

“Bringing Anne Rice’s Timeless Classic ‘Interview with the Vampire’ to Screen Life

Poor Jay. After a romantic rendezvous with her new partner, he discloses to her a terrifying truth: what he’s given her surpasses the usual STD concerns. He explains that she must transmit this entity by having intercourse with someone else, or else it will relentlessly pursue her until it claims her life.

Delay (October 22) – Hana has a deep interest in online games, which is partly influenced by her agoraphobia. After agreeing to let AI analyze her brain functions, she…

On the International Space Station, a team comprising Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, and Ryan Reynolds finds evidence of life originating from Mars. However, their excitement turns into alarm when this Martian life form starts mutating in a frightening manner.

“Swampy Shack-’em Up” – Hailing from the vast expanse of the Florida Everglades, this film, as per its title, serves as an unofficial counterpart to the movie “Cocaine Bear.” The title is self-explanatory.

In a more natural and easy-to-read paraphrase, “Pan’s Labyrinth” is Guillermo del Toro’s visually captivating dark fantasy movie. Set in 1944 Spain, it introduces us to Ofelia, who encounters numerous enigmatic creatures, such as the Faun and the Ghostly Man (brilliantly depicted with an ethereal touch by Doug Jones).

2015’s Poltergeist – While this Sam Raimi-backed remake isn’t atrocious, it feels superfluous. The story unfolds as the Bowen family settles into a seemingly haunted home. As you might expect, spooky happenings ensue.

Resident Evil – When a burglar makes off with a deadly virus from the underground lab known as the Hive, it’s locked down by the AI system called the Red Queen, leading to the demise of all within. A special forces unit is dispatched to the Hive with the mission to terminate its operations.

1983’s “The Evil Dead” – A group of five friends (who always seem to be five) decide to take a break at a cabin in the woods, but soon find themselves battling for survival instead. This small independent film gained significant popularity due to positive reviews from Fangoria magazine and Stephen King.

In simpler terms, the movie titled “The Hills Have Eyes” tells a story about a family who get stranded in the desert and are pursued by a grotesque, inbred family of cannibals. This film is a prime representation of the raw and gritty horror films that were popular during the 1970s.

Reviving Life – In a groundbreaking medical discovery, scientist Frank and his colleagues devise a method to resurrect the deceased. After testing their technique on a single animal, Frank faces an unimaginable tragedy when his beloved partner Zoe passes away. Eager to bring her back, they attempt the procedure, but upon revival, Zoe demonstrates noticeable changes in behavior and demeanor.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’d rephrase that as:

“Train to Busan” – Often hailed as one of the finest zombie films ever made, this gripping Korean production is filled with bloodshed, intensity, and emotional turmoil. As a train journey (you guessed it, to Busan) unfolds, a sudden zombie infestation ensues, forcing passengers to unite in a struggle for survival.
