I’m predicting a big jump in viewers for season 3 of Rings of Power because of this. Plus, I bet a lot of new fans, drawn in by Bower, will start binging the first two seasons to get caught up – a win for everyone!

Campbell Bower is a big name for Rings of Power, but the character he’s playing makes this casting especially interesting. He’s well-known for playing villains, like the famously evil Vecna. However, in Rings of Power, Bower will be taking on a very different type of role.
Campbell Bower’s character in The Rings of Power hasn’t been officially named yet. However, he’s been referred to internally as “Arlen” during production of season 3, and described as a noble Elvish knight. This has led many to believe he might be Celeborn, Galadriel’s husband in Tolkien’s original stories. Even if that isn’t the case, the character is expected to be a hero. This role is a bit different from the types of characters Campbell Bower usually plays, which could attract even more of his fans to watch The Rings of Power.
