Eduardo Franco, known for his role in Stranger Things, recently underwent a dramatic physical transformation in just three months to prepare for a new movie role.
The 31-year-old actor, famous for his role as Argyle, the pizza delivery driver in the popular Netflix show, will appear in a new movie where he’ll be shirtless in the very first scene.
In a video posted for his gym, S10 Training, the actor explained that he found out he’d been cast on July 14th. He immediately knew his character would appear early in the film and be shown without a shirt.
I decided I wanted to get in really good shape for the scene, so I took responsibility for my fitness. I started working with my trainer, Bowen, who connected me with Stephen at S10 to help me achieve that goal.
I was completely new to strength training. Stephen was a fantastic trainer and really helped me out.
Pointing to his trainer, he said: ‘This is the guy behind almost every physique in Hollywood.’
The gym shared an inspiring video with the caption: ‘After three months of dedication and training, S10 got in great shape for his latest movie role.’
Oh my gosh, even Finn and Caleb – Finn and Caleb! – were saying amazing things about Eduardo! Like, seriously, to have them acknowledge how incredible he is just proves everything I already knew. It’s just… perfect. They get it, you know? They see the genius!
Finn, best known for playing Mike Wheeler, reacted to the clip with clapping emojis. Caleb McLaughlin, who played Lucas Sinclair, simply wrote, ‘Oh wow!’
Fans quickly noticed Eduardo too, as he joined the show as an important character starting in season four.
One said: ‘I’M SORRY, IS THAT ARGYLE?!?’
One person commented that not having the actor return for season five felt disrespectful, praising the character’s humor but acknowledging the current season is facing significant problems.
A third commented: ‘He still has the most beautiful hair that I hope he keeps forever’.
The last episode of the show, titled “Chapter Eight: The Rightside Up,” became available on December 31st in the US and January 1st in the UK.
In the final episode, viewers saw Mike Wheeler, Eleven, and their friends battle Vecna and the Mind Flayer, attempting to seal the connection between the human world and the terrifying Upside Down.
The evil characters are killed by El and they successfully managed to close the gap.
Netflix has just revealed a sneak peek – a teaser trailer – for a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, titled ‘One Last Adventure’.
This documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show’s final season, revealing all the effort that went into it.
One Last Adventure will be released on the streaming platform at 8am GMT on January 12.
The trailer moved several of the actors to tears, including Millie and Noah Schnapp, who are both 21 years old.
Millie, who portrayed Eleven for the show’s entire duration, shared in a voiceover, ‘I’m not ready to say goodbye.’
