As a long-time fan who has grown up with the Hawkins gang, I can’t help but feel a strange mix of emotions as the production of Stranger Things has officially wrapped for good. This show has been an integral part of my teenage years and, to some extent, shaped who I am today.
Stranger Things has shared an exciting filming update on season 5.
The production of the remaining episodes is now complete, as confirmed by the official Netflix account, marking the end of the show for good.
Sharing a set of backstage photos, they announced on Twitter: “It’s a wrap for STRANGER THINGS. We’ll meet again in 2025.
Mike Wheeler, portrayed by Finn Wolfhard, has subsequently paid his own tribute, posting a collection of cast photos featuring himself and his co-stars dating as far back as season one.
He posted, “We’ve finished filming Stranger Things Season 5. I’m absolutely stunned,” he said. “For an entire year, we filmed it and I’ll deeply miss everyone involved and the characters we played.
When I imagine the series, it brings to mind the initial image. It shows a group of quirky, inexperienced individuals attempting to create something they believe is impressive, yet are unaware of the challenges that lie ahead.
It seems we’ve remained the same close-knit group, and I consider myself fortunate to be with you still. I sincerely hope you’ll cherish this season just as deeply as I do. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!

As a devoted admirer, I shared during a recent chat on the Podcrushed podcast that we’re crafting something truly special – approximately eight feature-length episodes. I also acknowledged the anticipation among fans as we strive to deliver each captivating season with care and precision.
They put a great deal of effort into ensuring the quality of their writing, which means it takes a significant amount of time to compose each season and also to film them,” explained Hawke.
