Stranger Things’ gang prepares to take a final stand against Vecna in volume two trailer

The latest trailer for the final part of Stranger Things season five shows the group getting ready for a last, big battle against the villain Vecna (played by Jamie Campbell Bower).

The two-minute trailer opens with Joyce (Winona Ryder) comforting her son, Will (Noah Schnapp), after he learns about his newfound abilities. She tells him, ‘This isn’t over—not even close.’

The town of Hawkins, Indiana remains under military lockdown while soldiers search for Eleven and try to understand the strange gateway to the Upside Down.

‘Help me find him, kill him,’ Eleven says to Eight (Kali Prasad).

Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Steve (Joe Keery) team up and vow to each other: ‘If you die, I die.’

‘This whole time,’ Dustin marvels.

‘Everything we have ever assumed about the upside down, has been dead wrong.’

Max, who is in a coma, and Holly find themselves stuck inside Vecna’s strange, magical world created from memories, and they start looking around together.

The trailer featured a very quick shot of David Harbour as Jim shouting, ‘Come on!,’ almost too fast to notice.

David Harbour is facing public accusations of infidelity after his ex-wife, Lily Allen, detailed their past in her new album, ‘West End Girl’.

The entire cast of the award-winning series is back for the final season of this popular Netflix show.

The fifth season will star Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Maya Hawke, Brett Gelman, Priah Ferguson, Linda Hamilton, and Cara Buono.

The final part of the series, created by Ross and Matt Duffer, will be available on December 25th. The two-hour finale, titled ‘The Rightside Up’, will then be shown in select US cinemas and on Netflix starting December 31st.

Harbour called it the best episode of the show ever, saying ‘They land the plane’ during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast last year.

When we first read this episode, around the halfway point, people began to cry. As we got to the final 20 minutes, the crying became overwhelming, with different people breaking down in waves. Noah Schnapp’s performance was particularly moving for me.

A big part of it is that these actors grew up on the show. They were just kids – eleven and twelve years old – when it started, and now we’re at the very end of the story.

Oh my gosh, she said it’s an amazing episode, and the whole season is incredible! I just know we’re all going to absolutely love it. I’m seriously counting down the minutes!
