Stranger Things final season gets new-look teaser from Netflix
As a die-hard Stranger Things fan who’s grown up alongside this extraordinary series, I can’t help but feel a mix of nostalgia, excitement, and anticipation as I watch these behind-the-scenes glimpses into the making of the final season. The memories flooding back are like a time capsule – Eleven’s Eggo carton, the Hawkins kids’ bikes, Hopper’s emotional letter… These props have been part of my life for so long now!
Netflix has released a special behind-the-scenes video from the set of Stranger Things season five.
The filming for the fifth and concluding season of a popular Netflix series is happening right now, reuniting the actors and production team for a farewell journey into the Upside Down world.
During Netflix’s Geeked Week, a week dedicated to showcasing the streaming service’s most popular global fandoms through unique announcements, sneak peeks, and events, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo made a thrilling surprise visit to the set of Stranger Things for die-hard fans Amy and Elicia.

In a straightforward manner, Wolfhard led the girls to the storage facility to exhibit some legendary items, including Eleven’s Eggo box, the bicycles of the Hawkins gang, and Hopper’s heartfelt note to Eleven from the final episode of season three.
I was fortunate enough to join McLaughlin on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Stranger Things costume department, and what a sight it was! Amy and Elicia got an up-close look at some iconic ensembles, from Robin’s Scoops Ahoy uniform to Eddie Munson’s Hellfire Club T-shirt – truly a thrill for any fan like me!
Next, Matarazzo led the enthusiastic fans to an warehouse adorned with spooky vine-like decorations reminiscent of the Upside Down, but in reality, they were constructed from pool noodles.
By mid-July, it was made official by Ross Duffer, one of the creators of “Stranger Things”, that they had already completed half of the production for the final season, as he shared yet another exclusive video showing glimpses of the cast and team at work on the set.
Millie Bobby Brown, who is now turning twenty, stated in a video that it feels strange for her since she began acting at age ten.
Natalia Dyer, who portrays Nancy, remarked, “We’re really cherishing each moment,” while Jamie Campbell Bower, as Vecna, hinted, “Season four was substantial. I must say, season five seems even more expansive.
Stranger Things seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix. A fifth and final season is in production. Stranger Things: The First Shadow is now booking until February 2025 at the Phoenix Theatre in London. Tickets are available now.
